Today’s multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble Equiano Springs 8.20 @ 5/1

Tafsir 3.20 @ 7/2

Howyadoin 4.40 @ 5/1

Selected Thirsk – good ground on this flat and galloping track

2.40 It’s never easy for a juvenile to carry penalty and this quicker track may well be against recent Beverley winner Rocket Money . Refelxion Faite did well last time to be a running on 2nd at Sandown last time , but is another who could find things happening a bit quick on this slick circuit . Heritage House ran respectably at Windsor last time when on the sharp end for most of the way . Looks a nice ew play .

1/2pt  ew Heritage House @ 13/2

3.10 tricky stuff as most of these juveniles go up in trip and many are having their first try in a handicap . It’s hard to knock On Borrowed Time , 2 wins from 3 starts and this late player should still be competitive off a 4 pound higher mark over a C&D which should suit.

1/4pt win On Borrowed Time @ 9/2

3.40 Nibras Angel was most impressive winning on debut and has a Group 2 entry , so clear chance of the double , despite carrying a penalty . Mother Mary was another impressive winner last time but on soft ground , so drying ground likely to be against her. Inito ran respectably when 3rd on debut and runs for a good stable and takes the eye at long odds .

1/4pt  ew Inito @ 20/1

4.40 Plenty of early pace around which won’t help the many battling for the lead but will help the late players . Howyadoin comes here on the back of a running on close 3rd over C&D , against older horses and has his first run for Mike Appleby , who has a terrific record improving new inmates . Not a deep heat .

1/2pt win  Howyadoin @ 5/1

Selected Musselburgh – good ground on this flat and galloping track

3.20 Tafsir is admirably consistent and was recently rewarded with a double and comes here on the back of another big run when 2nd at Newcastle off around this mark . This late player is a course winner and today’s extra yardage looks well within range . Not a deep race.

1/2pt win Tafsir @ 7/2

4.53 The short list is very long in this ultra competitive finale and worth a try on the consistent if luckless late playing Chinese Spirit , 4 2nds of late and unlucky in the other two . Runs this C&D very well and if finding the gaps , this could be this late player’s day.

1/4pt  ew Chinese Spirit @ 9/1

Selected Brighton – good to firm on this undulating , sharp and tricky track

3.00 The first time cheekpieces is a negative for the top stable of Archie Watson , trying to eke out a bit more from the ex-Irish maiden Kandoo , who also may find the ground and this C&D against her . Nelson Rose went close at Brighton and went a good gallop at Catterick last time until weakening close home . Should have the pace for the drop in trip .

1/4pt win Nelson Rose @ 7/2

Selected Newmarket – good ground on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

4.49 Worth a nice play on the Karl Burke newcomer Air Force Indi whose value rocketed from £57,000 to £175,000 from yearling to 2yo . The stable is in fine form and has made the 400 mile round trip to here before with juveniles with a smart level of success .

1/2pt win Air Force Indi @ 15/2

5.25 This should be no problem for the clear form horse She Is A Keeper and is doubled with the Haydock good thing .

1/2pt double She Is A keeper @ 11/10 Unplugged 5.40 @ evens

6.35 Jayyash cost high profile connections a hefty £420,000 and the top stable is well capable of getting them ready first time .

1/4pt win Jayyash @3/1

8.20 Equiano Springs has a definite love affair with Newmarket , his last 5 wins coming here . He was a convincing winner over C&D last time and despite a 3 pound nudge , an able 3 pound claimer takes the reins .

1/2pt win Equiano Springs @ 5/2

Selected Haydock – good ground on this flat and galloping track

5.40 The Hat-trick seeking Unplugged has been winning with something to spare and another win looks on .

6.15 Whisky Pete ran very well on debut at Newmarket when 2nd but I prefer a play on the Godolphin newcomer Age Of Time whose value rocketed from £150,000 to £800,000 from yearling to 2yo .

1/2pt win Age Of Time @ 7/2
