1.35 Despite the big field, a most uncompetitive maiden and the clear form horse is the ex-French filly Isotta , having her first run for the good stable of Adrian McGuiness, but she’s had plenty of chances , not known for consistency and first try on synthetics . Preference is for the lightly raced Mr Escobar , two good runs over C&D and is the one to beat , but evens short enough .

2.05 Clear chances can be given to both Everyhouronthehour and Ta Na La, who both bring solid C&D form to the table, but the nod goes to the in form Pro Bono, whose recent C&D form is stronger and stays on the same mark . Poor win record is the concern .
1/4pt win Pro Bono @ 9/2
2.35 Slamadoor came into her last race on the back of a close 4th over C&D , which gave her bright claims , but ran below expectations , but as she was badly drawn and it was a race for apprentices , worth forgiving , and this isn’t deep .
1/4pt ew Slamadoor @ 12/1
3.45 First man sluiced in here last time but the 8 pound hit and an extra half mile to travel, makes it easy to look elsewhere in this winnable heat . Adamaris returns to his best trip and has been holding his own racing over trip too short . Still a little high in the ratings , but should get away with it against beatable opposition .
1/2pt win Adamaris @ 4/1
4.20 The penalty and the drop in trip doesn’t help recent course winner Bronze River at all and the in form The Cola Brasil has been nudged up the ratings and the drop in trip isn’t ideal . No Speed Limit is very much a regular here and is rarely far away and gained due reward for his efforts with a win off just a pound lower but has also ran very well at this longer trip . Well drawn for a prominent racer and can’t complain with the booking of top jockey Billy Lee .
1/2pt win No Speed Limit @ 9/2
4.50 Zyg Zag Zyggy is not the 80 rated sprinter he once was , but has responded very well to the huge drop in the ratings and was only beaten a short head over C&D off a 3 pound lower mark and did well backing that up with a closing 2nd off this mark when dropped to the minimum . Lexington Liberty wasn’t far away in that race and is another who will appreciate today’s 6th furlong . He is another with a rotten win record , but has gone close a few times and looks a nice ew play .
1/4pt ew Lexington Liberty @ 10/1

1.40 Cicely nabbed a 4th C&D win last time out but the 5 pound hit will be hard to overcome especially from a tricky draw. The consistent Richard RHB will appreciate the drop in grade but is one of 3 front runners , which won’t help his cause but the likely strong gallop is great news for the late playing City Escape , just a pound higher for a recent C&D , when he had Cicely behind , and is 4 pounds better off .
1/4pt win City Escape @ 4/1
2.10 The short priced fav is the newcomer Majestic Warrior , related to a couple of smart sorts , but not on the all weather . Al Alaali posted a good effort when 2nd over C&D recently with Chronograph just a few lengths back in 3rd , who was making his debut , so likely to improve , but sticking with the form to be confirmed at nice odds for a very much in form stable .
1/4pt win Al Alaali @ 10/3
2.40 This is very much there for the taking with both Broughton’s Flame and Trusty Scout up sharply enough in the ratings for fighting out the finish in a classified event over C&D . Nick Vedder is on a long losing run and has been unlucky in the draw , but has been going well of late off this mark and his recent 3rd over C&D was a good effort .
1/4pt win Nick Vedder @ 11/2
3.15 Fast Style makes a quick reappearance after a long priced win at Newcastle , after an absence of 15 months . The 5 pound hit will certainly test and is also a very likely “ bouncer “ likely to run below his latest form 2nd race back from a break . Crownthorpe is just a pound higher than a C&D win a few months ago , wen the strong pace played into this late player’s hooves . Pace unlikely to be as strong today , and he has his first run for his new stable , who don’t have a good record with new intakes , but still a clear chance on the book and nice odds .
1/4pt win Crownthorpe @ 8/1
3.50 Politics won well on his first try at this trip at Lingfield and no issue with this surface but is a nasty 5 pounds higher and badly drawn , but what he does have in his favour is the likely race make up with 3 of the field likely to go out hard . The lightly raced Momaer clung on well to win at Lingfield , and well handicapped on that run . She appears to be tactically versatile , and is another hard to ignore at long odds .

4.37 The hat-trick seeking Bascinet has a bit to do down in trip as he was a 1 length 3rd over C&D a few runs earlier , and is 7 pounds worse off with the consistent if hard to win with Master Grey , who’s a late player and will be very well ridden in this race for amateur jockeys by Pat Millman , who knows the tip well. The longer trip is likely to be in the favour of Midnight Train , the only other with a chance .
1/4pt win Master Grey @ 5/2
5.12 Notimeforanother , a 100/1 winner at Newcastle , beat a couple of in form rivals , and this bumper horse is certainly going to be more potent over this extra 3 furlongs . All rivals have a bit to prove and despite carrying a penalty , very nice play at juicy odds .
1/2pt win Notimeforanother @ 10/1
5.45 The drop in trip won’t help the woefully one paced Victory House while the removal of the usual tongue tie for the probable form horse Naomi’s Charm, asks a question . Ray Of Clouds runs in famous colours for a top stable and did well when front running last time to be a close 4th , and likely to lead again and could take some catching . Could be another outsider of 3 to prevail .
1/4pt win Ray Of Clouds @ 5/2
6.15 Astrafan comes here on the back of two very narrow defeats at Newcastle but despite having one at this longer trip , he’s run more poor ones than good at this distance . Written Broadcast has gone close in this grade the last twice , but a slight concern dropping in trip . Hannah’s Return doesn’t have many miles on the clock and landed a handicap at Wolver last time coming off the pace and with a stack of early pace in this , the race will be run to suit .
1/4pt win Hannah’s Return @ 9/2
7.45 The bookies have been knocked down in the rush to be on Kings’s Gem , having his first start for the upwardly mobile stable of George Boughey .He returns from a 5 months break having run pretty well in his 3 turf races and on a workable mark on the evidence of those runs , but is one of a trio of front runners , which of course doesn’t help . The ex_Irish Shot Of Love ran very well over C&D in a deep looking maiden in just his 3rd start. He finished strongly that night and with a strong pace assured , taken to outstay these at juicy odds .
1/2pt win Shot Of Love @ 7/1
