1.35 Very much a match between the two Irish raiders who were both pretty good on the flat, Bringbackmemories rated 83 , and brings good form to the table, running the useful The Insider close at Down Royal, up again the 97 flat rated McTigue , who recently changed hands for 125,000 Euros . Worth watching as both of these could figure well in the better juvenile hurdles this season .

Selected Ayr – probably good to soft on this flat and galloping track
2.19 Jordan electrics comes here on the back of a splendid close 5th in the recent Bronze Cup, which would give him strong claims in this except for today’s softer ground . Tothenines was a few lengths behind him in that race , but as he acts on soft ground and stays well , is preferred .

3.29 The veteran Flying Pursuit is a shadow of the top notch handicapper of a few years ago, but is running consistently off this much lower mark and with the ground in his favour , well drawn and on a course he runs well , gets the nod .

3.01 Dindin has no penalty for a smart win last time and has found a soft race to double up, with C&D likely to suit, but jockey Philip Armson is 0 from 36 at the track. Big put off at just 6/4.

3.36 City Derby ended last season with two big runs , a close 3rd at Musselburgh and a good win over C&D . He goes well fresh , is only young , so could well be capable of the 6 pound hit this has few serious contenders . The prolific Translink won well at long odds last time and has to be a big danger . Seaborough came into his latest race , 1 from 35 and 6 pound out of the weights , and would you Adam N Eve it , landed a competitive heat . He’s a law to himself and wouldn’t be the greatest shock ever if he defied the penalty , but just as likely to do what he’s best at, running alongside rivals.

4.11 Bannister looked to be going nowhere quick , but finally responded to the drop in the ratings, coming off the pace to win at Worcester , and after a close 2nd over the same C&D next time, to a much improved youngster , got back on the scoresheet at the same C&D , and off just a 2 pound higher mark , and in a race with plenty of early pace to suit his style , nice play .

5.00 Quite easy finding negatives for the vast majority of these and on his return to this C&d, The Nail Gunner can go in again . He’s 2 from 4 here and last rime over C&d , he spreadeagled the field from the front , and followed that up with a big run at Chelmsford City off around this mark, but disappointed next time at the same C&D. There’s not much early In this and if back to top form , could land this at juicy odds.
