Today’s Multi – 2 from 3 again yesterday !
3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Sandy Paradise @ 13/8
Sense Of Security 3.50 @ 7/2
Haku 6.30 @ 11/2
No advice for Clonmel , unfamiliar with the runners and the track
Selected Kempton – all weather – polytrack
12.40 Mick’s Spirit has been banging on the door of late and the drop in grade should see a deserved win . He’s very well drawn for a prominent racer but won’t have the lead to himself with at least 3 other front runners , but has showed before he doesn’t have to lead to win , but 5/4 makes little appeal. Em Jay Kay broke his duck last time and remains on a workable mark and does see this trip out well . With a strong pace expected , is taken to outstay these .
1/4pt win Em Jay Kay @ 10/3
2.10 Very few of these have a seious chance and disappointing if Sandy Paradise can’t win this well. He won over C&D Summer off just a pound lower and ran very well , again over C&D on his recent comeback spin . Likely to try and make all from a good draw and with little competition for the lead , this should be a clear win .
3/4pt win Sandy Paradise @ 13/8
2.40 The drop in trip won’t help recent course winner Bass Strait while Moon Over The sea has a bit to prove switching to polytrack , but if handling the surface would be a live danger to recent Southwell winner Bond Spirit , who was well backed to prevail in a more competitive race than this . Previously he ran well in a handicap here around this trip , and despite conceding weight all round , looks on the up .
1/2pt in Bond Spirit @ 7/4
3.50 A fine chance for long standing maiden Sense Of Security to finally shed her maiden tag at the 17th attempt . She comes here in fine form and was a close 3rd here last time out , when going for home too early over a longer trip . She stays on this same workable mark and a few runs ago was a close 2nd over C&D . In this race for amateur riders , she is partnered by one of the best around in Simon Walker , who will certainly make her mind up in the closing stages.
1/2pt win Sense Of Security @ 7/2
Selected Southwell – all weather – tapeta
5.30 Plenty in with a chance in this competitive low grade handicap sprint but Brandy Station saves his best for this track, 4 wins thus far , and after being outclassed when upped in grade last time , his previous run when a close 3rd , certainly gives him longshot appeal , despite a handful of rivals who tick plenty of boxes .
1/4pt ew Brandy Station @ 20/1
6.00 There wasn’t much between the hat-trick seeking Colors of Freedom , the front running and the luckless Furnicore over C&D last time , and off the revised marks , it will be close again , but as a few others in the field like to race front rank , the stronger pace is likely to suit the strong staying tip best,
1/4pt win Furnicore @ 11/2
6.30 Haku has been transformed since being raced at this trip , winning his last 3 very well and despite a further 5 pounds nudge up the ratings, the very able 7 pound claimer Billy Loughlane is in the saddle tonight . The tip was professionally ridden last time , and this young jockey is 1 from 1 aboard the tip , and no issues with this C&D. Tactically versatile and another good run expected.
1/2pt win Haku @ 11/2
7.30 The late playing Burnback is rarely far away but the race is usually over when he gets going seriously . The short priced fav is the hat-trick seeking Walking On Clouds , who has won his last two here easily but the 7 pound hit will test as too will the longer trip . Grey Belle was a close 2nd over C&d two starts back and can be forgiven a lesser run last time , again over C&D but in higher grade . She’s on a good mark and is a nice ew play .
1/4pt ew Grey Belle @ 7/1
8.30 Flyingdale did it very well over C&d last time but the 5 pound hit will surely test . Camachess won over C&D 3 starts back , off a 3 pound lower mark and has run respectably since . Another nice ew play .
1/4pt ew Camachess @ 12/1
