Rewired to light up the track in the 2.50

Today’s Multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Rewired 2.50 @ 5/2

Killer Kane 3.00 @ 2/1

Bobby Joe Leg 4.55 @ 13/2

Selected Bangor – probably good to soft on this flat and sharp track

2.20 The North Wales National , and plenty in the field proven at Marathon trips, but the vast majority of these prefer much softer ground . Morozon Cocktail has dropped to a good mark , will like the ground and stays very well .

1/4pt  ew Morozon Cocktail @ 9/1

2.50 The ultra consistent prominent racing Rewired is just 2 pounds higher than his last win , comes here on the back of a good 2nd and drying ground very much in his favour . Looks hard to beat .

3/4pt win Rewired @ 5/2

Selected Kempton – probably good to soft on this flat and sharp track .

1.30 Questions to answer for Iorens down in trip and Progressive on drying ground . The reliable late playing Sashenka will be suited by the speedy C&D , remains on  workable mark and drying ground very much in her favour .

1/2pt win Sashenka @ 3/1

2.00 PREMIUM RACE

3.00  C&D winner Killer Kane will relish today’s ground and this front runner will take a deal of catching .He’s acquitted himself well in the face of some stiff tasks this season .

3/4pt  win Killer Kane @ 2/1

3.35 Sami Bear threw a clear winning opportunity last time by jinking badly at the last , and losing his jockey . Off the same mark , similar ground, track and trip , really should be making amends in a winnable heat .

1/2pt win Sammi Bear @ 9/4

4.10 This trip is short enough for recent close 2nd Jay Jay Reilly , but he showed last time he is an effective front runner , and his rivals all have things to prove .

1/2pt win Jay Jay Reilly @ 11/4

3.15  Melwood Boy ran to a good level on debut at Newcastle , but how will he handle this more benign track . Hazel Bear has run well in all of her three races , including over C&D , making this straight forward type a very solid ew play .

1/2pt  ew  Hazel Bear @ 7/1

3.45 Low grade stuff , but plenty of these have been running their races of late , giving this a competitive look . There’s plenty of early pace about , giving an ideal race make up for the strong finishing Krystal Maze . Lively longshot .

1/4pt  ew Krystal Maze @ 14/1

4.20 PREMIUM RACE

4.55 Bobby Joe Leg has held his form very well since being bumped up the ratings , this includes a close 2nd in a better race over C&D off around this mark . Fair to expect another good run .

1/2pt ew Bobby Joe Leg @ 13/2

5.25 The consistent Porfin runs this C&D well and the majority of his recent runs suggest this mark is not beyond him . We can draw a line through his last run which was raced in fog , and the race shouldn’t have been run . Nice longshot .

1/4pt ew Porfin @ 12/1

Selected Dundalk – all weather – polytrack

3.55 A good quality stayers event and on official ratings , Okita Soushi has at least a 12 pound buffer , but hasn’t run close to his lofty mark for some time , first try on polytrack and his only win was getting on for 2 years ago, so all in all , not a tempting short priced fav .Firstman is in top form , especially racing here and can’t be discounted with winning form over C&D but the nod goes to the useful Jerandme who won this last year , pulverising the opposition .

1/4pt win  Jerandme @7/2

4.25 The bookies make this rightly a two horse war between the two class acts , the front running San Andreas and the late playing track specialist Harry’s Bar , who should have the measure of his rival who is down in trip and has become hard to win with , but at odds on , I can afford to watch .

5.00 There will be no hanging around in this decent quality sprint handicap with the last time winners Catherine Of Sienna and Tai Sing Yeh sure to go out hard , but both on stiff marks and taking each other on early stages won’t help their cause . Dream Today could have done better a few times of late but the strong pace could well play into this late player’s hooves .

1/4pt win Dream Today @ 7/2

5.30 A typical low grade Dundalk handicap , far more about quantity than quality. French Company did well winning here last time over a trip short enough and back to his best distance , can make light out the 4 pound hit .

1/4pt win French Company @ 7/2

6.00 Teutates created a favourable impression when winning over C&D and looks the type capable of defying a penalty .

Selected Chelmsford City – all weather – polytrack

A very tricky card and each race has a number of contenders , each with similar chances . Just one play .

6.15 The 5 time C&d winner Engrave bounced back to winning form at Newcastle last time , is only two pounds higher and an able 7 pound claimer takes the reins . She’s the only runner proven at this trip and attractive odds for the double .

1/4pt win Engrave @ 6/1
