The Salisbury Multi

Bluenose Belle 3.15 @ 6/1

Cabinet Of Clowns 2.45 @ 7/4

Devon Envoy 2.15 @ 8/1

Selected Brighton – good to firm on this undulating , sharp and tricky track

The likes of Arzaak , Cappananty Con and Moveonup bring OK recent form to the table but from the all weather and their recent turf runs have ben below par . Hot Hot hot has run a couple of good races of late over C&D on quick ground , good enough to notch an overdue win . The ex-Irish Nigg Bay was a good 3rd here last time but that came over a furlong further .

¼ pt  win Hot Hot Hot @ 7/2

1.30 This should be easy peasy for clear form horse Betweenthesticks, who has experience here ,but 4/6 no use at Brighton !

No Bet

2.00 Jackmeister Rudi continues to fluff the start  but still runs well, as he did over C&D last time on quick ground , which gives him clear claims in a modest heat.

¼ pt  win Jackmeister Rudi @ 15/8

2.30 One of many weak low grade heats today and another clear form horse in On The Nose , who comes here on the back of a good 2nd over C&D in a handicap and despite having a couple of pounds to find on official ratings with a few of these , they are unproven at the trip , not in great form and Rhys Clutterbuck takes a handy 3 pounds off his back .

1/4pt  win On The Nose @ 9/4

Selected Salisbury – good to firm on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

2.15 This wont take much winning with recent Lingfield winner , the reliable and prolific Arlecchino’s Gift a very stiff 7 pounds higher . It’s hard to set your clock to recent C&D 2nd Devon Envoy , as his profile has a couple of good runs and a host of poor ones , and after that good effort here , he returned , but down in trip , and never featured , but the form of his 2nd is really good with the useful yardstick Nikki’s Girl 3 lengths back in 3rd . Worth the risk at the odds and there’s not much early pace in opposition to this prominent racer .

1/2pt  win Devon Envoy @ 8/1

2.45 Cabinet Of Clowns has run well in both runs , including here and is the clear form horse to  make it third time lucky .

1/2pt  win Cabinet Of Clowns @ 7/4

3.15 The short priced fav is recent easy ground Bath victor Hurricane Helen , but that was a narrow success for which she’s up a stiff 4 pounds and her record in Class 5 is 0 from 10 ! The handicapper is certainly giving Bluenose Belle a chance and she hasn’t been going badly at all . This isn’t a deep race and despite dropping in trip , this stiff C&d will suit well , and wouldn’t be surprised if she goes front rank early and stays the best .

1/2pt  win  Bluenose Belle @ 13/2

Selected Chelmsford City – all weather – polytrack

5.00 The two form horses are Indian Dream and Prince Nabeel, both running to a decent level on debut but Indian Dream’s 2nd came only in a 4 horse race and not bred for synthetics while Prince Nabeel ran well to be 4th of 10 and is bred both for the longer trip and the surface .

¼ pt  win Prince Nabeel @ 3/1

6.45 Godolphin runners are always respected here but hard getting excited about the prospects of Light and Soul, out with the washing in his last 3 runs and the drop in trip hardly likely to help . Mehmento is back on a winning mark and has a rare try on polytrack , but form on this surface already good enough to possibly give these the slip from the front . Natural Path ran well to be a running on 3rd over C&D last time while the consistent Sir Oliver is always hard to rule out .

¼ pt  win Mehmento @ 6/1

7.20 Sharpcliff comes here on a 4 timer and the way he’s been winning , could still be ahead of the game , despite another 4 pound hit , but his latest win did come after a 10 months break , which is always a concern 2nd race back . The consistent Peter The Great was a close 2nd over C&D last time and has clear prospects of going one better with just a 1 pound hit down in grade .

½ pt  win Peter The Great @ 2/1

7.55 PREMIUM RACE

8.25 Low grade stuff for the finale but the back to form Jumeira Bridge could be the answer .  This late player comes here on the back of two big runs at Wolver in handicap company and as h’s proven on this surface and won off a 18 pound higher mark last year , nice odds to swoop late .

½ pt win Jumeira Bridge @ 9/2

Selected Wetherby – good ground on this galloping track with an uphill finish

5.15 Galaxy Gazer brings the best form to the table after her good 2nd at Haydock and this C&D should be ideal from the best of the draw.

1/4pt win Galaxy Gazer @ 2/1

5.50 Kind Gesture was strongly fancied on her debut but found one with experience just a bit too strong . This C&D should be perfect , but is odds on .

No Bet

6.25 This is certainly far more about quantity than quality and the clear form horse is the consistent Rose’s Girl, who is certainly a few pounds too high in the handicap , but she’s run well over C&D before and the opposition  isn’t strong .

1/2pt  win Rose’s Girl @ 2/1

7.00 A similar contest where it’s hard fancying many . Gainsbourg won twice last year and has  shaped up well enough this season to overcome a wide draw and the drop in grade a big positive .

1/2pt  win Gainsbourg @ 9/2

7.35 Like all late players , Vindobala is hard to win with , but is very consistent , and despite a 2 pound nudge up the ratings , has claims in an uncompetitive heat . My Little Queens won 3 from 6 last season, ending with a win at Ayr off a 3 pound lower mark . She ran modestly on her comeback spin  last season but did improve with time , so given the nod .

¼ pt   win My Little Queens @ 4/1

8.10 PREMIUM RACE

8.40 Another uncompetitive race and the clear form horse is Yasmin from York , 2 wins in her last 3 , both at this trip. Up 3 pounds but in this finale for apprentice riders has a smart one aboard in Mark Winn , who claims a lovely 4 pounds .

½ pt  win Yasmin Of York @ 13/8
