They’re unlikely to go a strong gallop and decent chance of kicking for home off the front .

5.20 Dandy Spirit recently snapped out of a long losing run , thanks to a plummet in the ratings and a switch to front running, sluicing in by 4 lengths over C&D , and has certainly held his form well off his new mark , when ridden a lot more patiently ,but still running his race. Last time out , again over C&D , he had the best of the draw, but in a race full of early pace , was held for a late charge, finishing well to be a 2 lengths 5th , in higher grade , and has been eased 2 pounds. He’s well drawn again , and while unlikely to lead , he is well capable of racing close up and seeing it out the best .

2.08 A chance can be given to a few of these , course winner The Mad Monk likely to appreciate the longer trip , Thunderhill , running some very solid races on turf and Connie R a possible off a featherweight . Kiritamati Island certainly deserves a win , very rarely far away , has hit the frame 3 times in 4 visits here and also 4 times in 5 tries in this grade . Comes here in his usual good form, and a deserved win could be on.

3.53 Badri comes here on the back of an ever so smooth win over C&D when tactics were completely changed . Usually a front runner , he was anchored at the back , and when asked for an effort , he sauntered home. The 7 pound hit would ordinarily cast doubts , but in the past he’s been highly competitive off around this mark , and it could be that connections have found the key to take him to even greater heights . A strong pace is assured with at least the poorly handicapped pair of So Grateful and Society Lion going off hard .
