Laurentia has put in a cracking series of runs of late and comes here on the back of a big run over C&D from a bad draw , finishing 2nd of 16 behind one who has done well since . Up 2 pounds but has the best of the draw tonight and should land a contest low on quality .

Angle Land certainly deserves a win , and was foiled by an unlikely 50/1 shot over C&D last time with the dodgy looking Expert Opinion , the now looking held in the handicap Dark Side Prince and Mick’s Spirit all close behind . Angle Land could have been drawn kinder , is up 2 pounds and first time blinkers a negative for the stable . The nod goes to Mick’s Spirit, far better drawn tonight .
