Gift Maker 1.25 @ 7/4

Emporio 2.25 @ 5/2

Selected Naas- heavy ground on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

12.40 The heavy ground made all the difference for the exposed looking Tooprofitable , who made all at The Curragh , keeping on most  generously , a win that puts her on a workable mark In this nursery . Nice longshot considering C&D and ground will suit .

1/4pt  ew Tooprofitable @ 12/1

2.25 The short priced fav is the huge class dropper in   Helvic Dream , but despite taking on very hot company , hasn’t really threatened at all and both the drop in trip and deeper ground promise to ask further questions . Emporio is closely matched with the admirably consistent Current Option , but th heavy ground is certainly more in his favour and gets the vote .

1/2 pt win Emporio @ 5/2

3.27 A typically ultra competitive Irish November Handicap and I’m with the class angle in Falcon Eight , who rarely runs in handicaps, but is also rarely far away . He’s on a workable mark , C&D and ground fine and the young 10 pound claimer aboard will certainly help .

1/4pt  ew  Falcon Eight @ 14/1

3.57 All of the recent winners in the field have been done no favours at all by the handicapper and I’m with the reliable and prolific mare Dha Leath , not disgraced last time when taking her chance in a Newmarket handicap, underlining connections feel there are more races to be won with her off around this mark .

1/4pt win Dha Leath @ 9/2

Selected Sandown – very soft ground on this stiff and galloping track

12.50 The change to very deep ground won’t be of much help to most of these , so understandable that The Cob is now the fav . He ran his best race last year first time out , but In 4 subsequent runs , was pulled up 3 times . He isn’t one to chance your last fiver on, but the ground is fine , races on a very good mark , and could reward the faithful .

1/4pt win The Cob  @ 5/2

1.25 As both Solo and Hudson De Grugy have stamina doubts at this trip, especially on the soft ground, should be a match , but the prolific ex pointer Gift Maker is on a workable mark going handicap chasing for the first time , acts on the ground and a stiff track and could just have the legs of strong staying Mumbo Jumbo .

1/2pt win Gift Maker @ 7/4

2.00 The ex-French Matterhorn , hasn’t been seen for 18 months , but brings comfortably the best form to the table and should get off to a winning start now with Paul Nicholls .

1/2pt win Matterhorn @ 7/4

2.35 Not much between Does He Know , Fanstastikas and Pic D’Orhy at the ratings , but the latter does bring to the table the strongest form , and is  dual Grade 2 winner . Ground no real issue , but you are getting fair odds as he goes up in trip . Hard to ignore .

1/2pt win Pic D’Orhy @ 5/4

Selected Cork – heavy ground on this flat and galloping track

1.33 Looks a match but the Willie Mullins’ useful bumper Walk In The Brise , is proven at the trip and ground and is much preferred to the hard to win with Feddans .

1/2pt win Walk In The Brise @ 10/11

3.13 The Cork Grand National , and with all Grand Nationals, specialists are of great interest . Braeside won this well last year on deep ground from the progressive Screaming Colours and despite both being markedly higher in the ratings today  both  ran really well subsequently . He won first time out last year , and in a race where it’s hard finding solid contenders, could double up.

1/2pt win Braeside @ 7/1

Selected Ffos Las – very soft ground on this flat and galloping track

1.40 Worth a try on heavy ground winning flat course winner Zambezi Magic in an ordinary looking novice hurdle .

1/4pt win Zambezi Magic @ 11/2
