Today’s Multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Mapmaker 2.00 @ 3/1

Educator 8.25 @ 6/1

Kalamity Kitty 9.00 @ 11/2

Selected Newton Abbot – good to firm on this flat and sharp track .

2.25 Coolnaugh Haze is rarely far away and was narrowly denied last time .Up just a pound and could be the answer .

1/4pt win Collnaugh Haze @ 5/2

3.00 Shortcross Storm caused an almighty shock when winning over C&D last time when he shot off like a bullet and when challenged , had enough left to repel a late player , in gutsy fashion .Taken to double up just 4 pounds higher.

1/4pt win Shortcross Storm @ 15/8

Selected Newbury – good to firm on this flat and galloping track

2.00 As none of the newcomers race in famous colours nor cost very much , best sticking with experience and Mapmaker should oblige .

3/4pt win Mapmaker @ 3/1

Selected Nottingham – good to firm on this flat and galloping track

3.25 Isle of Dreams is a most prolific and progressive mare , and comes here on a 6 timer ! but a 4 pound hike won’t help and quick ground another issue . In an uncompetitive race , Rainbow Mirage , who ran a fair race last time , is preferred , now a pound lower than her last win . Late player .

1/4pt win Rainbow Mirage @ 11/2

5.10 The mightily consistent Gulmarg certainly deserves a win and despite taking on a number of unexposed types , this could be his day .

1/4pt win Gulmarg @ 4/1

No Nottingham placepot

I’m just having the one play at The Curragh , an undulating , stiff and galloping track . The going is good .

6.30 Amazon Lady , unraced as a 2yo, won well on her debut and did well last time at Cork on good ground , beaten less than a length off this mark and worth trying as her rivals are mostly more potent on softer ground or an extra furlong .

1/4pt ew Amazon  Lady @ 7/1

Selected Kempton – all weather – polytrack

5.15 Plenty of in form types in this big field opener , but happy to take on a few of the market leaders . Ibn Aldar returned recently from a lengthy absence with a win at Lingfield . He goes up to a more appropriate trip , but the 5 pound hike will take some overcoming as will the wide draw. He’s also a prime candidate to bounce ! My Mate Ted is only running moderately and another market leader to take on . Airshow responded to the drop in the ratings winning at this trip on tapeta , but in 9 runs here he’s 3 wins and 3 places. Nicely drawn for as prominent racer and appeals ew. Both Calonne and Sandy Paradise has solid recent C&D form and may be worth combining in small stake fcs & tricasts with the tip.

1/4pt  ew Airshow @ 12/1

7.20 The fav is the consistent and well drawn New Endeavour , but recent evidence suggests , he’s on too stiff a mark . Plenty of dark horses in  this but the front running Berkshire Phantom is well drawn and wasn’t far away over C&D recently . Down a pound and Oisin Murphy rides .

1/4pt  ew Berkshire Phantom @ 8/1

7.50 Marksman Queen is 2 from 2, one of those coming over C&D and this well drawn filly is on a workable mark in her first handicap and races for a top stable .

1/2pt  win Marksman Queen @ 11/4

8.25  Educator runs for His Majesty and comes here on the back of a good run at Donny , only beaten a few lengths . This race has a winnable look to it and could be good enough .

1/4pt win Educator @ 6/1

9.00 A very winnable looking finale and the prolific mare Kalamity Kitty makes plenty of appeal . Successful in all 3 runs last season when returning from an absence , proven at the track and trip and as her rivals have it to prove at the trip or surface , her winning run can continue .

1/2pt win  Kalamity Kitty @ 11/2

Only having the one play at Ripon , a sharp and undulating track . Going is good to firm

6.40 After two good runs on easy ground , Leap Year Lad did well at Carlisle on quick ground when a running on 4th , when given too much to do, and the winner and 3rd have both won since . Has more going for him than most .

1/4pt ew Leap Year Lad @ 9/1
