Seelotmorebusiness4.17 @ 2/1

Pic D’ Ohry 3.35 @ 11/4

Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack

1.03 There wasn’t much between the reliable Blue Collar Lad and the well handicapped Lost In Time over C&D last time , but the former is up in the ratings and doesn’t have the benefit of a good claimer in the saddle today . Hul Ah Bah Loo has a good recent close 4th over C&D on his CV . Not well drawn and a maiden after 15 tries, but this is easier .

1/4pt win Huh Ah Bah Loo @ 4/1

2.13 Daphne May was well backed when winning a similar race here last time but does have a penalty and drops in trip , but opposition so weak could get away with it , but too short to support .

No Bet

2.48 Vadream has a clear advantage at the ratings , but recent runs not close to her best and a win record of just 2 from 18 a poor return for a 105 rated mare and the first time hood looks a move of desperation by the stable who have little joy using these aids .

No Bet

3.23 The prolific mare Epsom Faithfull returned recently from a lengthy break with a cracking effort when a close 4th in Class 1 event , over a trip too short . Back to her best trip is preferred .

1/2pt win Epsom Faithfull @ 7/2

3.58 Base Note has developed into a useful handicapper and despite being 4 pounds higher than his recent C&D win , could still be good enough in a race where many are hard to fancy .

1/2pt win Base Note @ 5/2

Selected Ascot – good ground on this stiff and galloping track

3.35 Fakir D’Ordairies looked decidedly lucky to collect last time as the leader looked good until the last fence . Shishkin continues to have it to prove and connections reach for a tongue tie, and he’s had a wind op . Longer trip a further concern . The front running Pic D’Orhy is 3 from 3 this season . He runs this track well and good ground fine .

1/2pt win Pic D’Orhy @ 11/4

Selected Haydock – good to soft on this flat and galloping track

1.30 Cianciana ran really well last time to be a close 3rd behind a pair of highly regarded juveniles at Donny on quick ground . Slightly softer ground gives this longshot a real chance .

1/2pt ew Cianciana @ 16/1

2.05 Itchy Feet impressed making a well overdue return to the Winners’ Circle, 3 years ! He’s up with the best of these on ratings and form and the win has to do him the world of good .

1/2pt win Itchy Feet @ 4/1

2.40 A red hot handicap but still hard to ignore the claims of 6 times course winner Bristol De Mai , running in only his 3rd ever handicap. He was 2nd in this last year on bottomless ground but was later awarded the win . He’s 5 pounds higher today , but now a 12yo and drying ground not ideal .

1/4pt win Bristol De Mai @ 9/1

3.50 With so much early pace around this looks destined to go to a late player and Garrincha fits the bill , just hope the ground isn’t too quick.

1/4pt win Garrincha @ 4/1

5.00 Famous Claremont looked smart when trotting in last time but so did the once very useful handicapper Benny’s Gift , who ran in excess of his lofty 137 mark last time making all .

1/4pt win Bennys Gift @ 3/1

Selected Wincanton – good ground on this flat and galloping track

1.57 The odds on fav Earth Cry looks beatable so rowing in with Universal Secret , who’s only modest but does run to his rating .

1/4pt  ew Universal Secret @ 9/1

2.32 The front running Flic Do Voyou is a 3 time course winner and bounces off quick ground , Be hard to catch .

1/2pt win Flic Do Voyou @ 11/4

3.12 A small field for this Grade 2 hurdle and little between Knappers Hill , First Street and I Like to Move it but on good ground , around this track and possibly could get the run of the race from the front , the latter gets the vote .

1/2pt win I Like To Move It @ 3/1

4.17 The consistent Jet Of Magic could struggle down in trip on quick turf . There was plenty of support for Seelotmorebusiness on his first run for Harry Derham and he front ran his way to an effortless victory and as he’s totally unexposed the 11 pound hike could be within range .

1/2pt win Seelotmorebusiness @ 9/4

Selected Newcastle – all weather – tapeta . The track is stiff and galloping

4.55 Very hard looking past recent course winner Russian Virtue who followed that up with a good win over hurdles . Rivals hard to fancy .

5.30 Another uncompetitive heat and it looks good for the C&D winner Magicdollar .

1/2pt double Russian Virtue @ 10/11 Magicdollar @ 6/4

6.00 After some good efforts in defeat , Chief’s Will deservedly got his his head in front at Southwell last time. Up just two pounds but this prominent racer has a good jockey aboard in a race for apprentices and this stiffer track should suit well .

1/2pt win Chief’s Will @ 5/2

7.30 Athollblair Boy has won 2 of his last 3 races , both over C&D and looks a lovely longshot with just a two pound penalty and way down in class .

1/2pt  ew  Athollblair Boy @ 12/1

8.00 There’s no doubt that Gunnerside is on a very good mark , compared to what he’s done in the past , and has been punted a few times of late . Not beaten far last time and down another 2 pounds, but not for me at shortish odds . Primo comes here on the back of a good 2nd over C&D . Eased in the ratings and a nice ew play

1/4pt  ew Primo @ 9/1
