Kraken has the Power to land the hat-trick in the 8.15

Today’s Multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Flexi Furlough 4.12 @ 5/1

Astroman 1.10 @ 7/1

Kraken Power 8.15 @ 7/2

Selected Catterick – good ground on this undulating and sharp track

1.10 On drying ground hard to be enthusiastic about the chances of the market leaders in Prairie Wolf and Secret Secret . astroman has run a couple of fair races since stepped up to this trip and the better ground and ease in the ratings could see him land this winnable heat .

1/2pt ew Astroman @ 7/1

4.12 As both Hard iron and Bollin Neil have stiff penalties and both would prefer softer ground, certainly worth a try on the ultra consistent mare Flexi Furlough , who comes to hand early and despite now being on as tough enough mark , will again run her race .

1/2pt win Flexi Furlough @ 5/1

Selected Chepstow – good to soft on this undulating, galloping and stiff track

3.00 This looks a bridge too far for the reliable Raddon Top off a high mark and on ground quick enough . The prolific pair of Monbeg Genius and Super Survivor are both C&D winners , handle this kind of ground and could be up to overcoming their penalties but slight preference is for the late playing Ree Okka , who just got going too late last time when a close 2nd , and remains on a workable mark .

1/4pt win  Ree Okka @ 4/1

No Chepstow placepot

Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack

2.20 With Miss Moonshine carrying a stiff penalty and also up in grade , she would do very well to double up , despite this being a modest heat . The lightly raced Selina’s Star ran well over C&D in a maiden which puts her on a workable mark and despite a wide draw , worth a small ew .

1/4pt  ew Selina’s Star @ 8/1

2.50 Very harde to assess the chance of John Gosden’s Unforgotton , who returns after a break of almost 2 years , but does return on a workable mark and considering he is a Godolphin horse , the fact they’ve kept him suggests he’s not lost his ability . Brains comes here on a hat-trick with two cosy wins , defying a stiff 8 pounds penalty last time . He’s up 4 more and should be able to dominate from a good draw and not out of this. The very much back to form Starshiba is now on a testing mark but again won’t be far away at a track he runs very well . A case can be made for one of he longshots in Enough Already , two decent runs since returning from a break and on a winning mark .

1/4pt  ew Enough Already @ 22/1

3.20 This will take little winning and a good opportunity for Sundayinmay to upgrade two recent close 2nds over C&D despite a pound rise and a wide draw.

1/4pt win Sundayinmay @ 3/1

Selected Dundalk – all weather – polytrack

4.30 Bitacora has only had two races , both came here and she ran well in both . Her form is not far behind the short priced fav Miami Thunder , which came in a small field . The tip worth a play at long odds .

1/4pt ew Bitacora @ 14/1

5.30 After landing a C&D double, Notforalongtime has held his form well since going up in the ratings and was just behind Musgrave last time and has a small pull in the weights. This won’t take much winning .

1/4pt win Notforalongtime @ 5/1

7.00 The bookies look to have got this right making the closely matched pair of Matilda and Me and Dark Street the market leaders but as Matilda and Me is a prominent racer , not ideal in a race full of early  pace , this should set things up for the late playing tip .

1/4pt win Dark Street @ 10/3

Selected Newcastle – all weather – tapeta . The track is stiff and galloping and just 3

4.30 A tricky opener but as the vast majority of these are hold up types , the lightly raced and prominent racing Jubilee Girl , could be in the right place at the right time and just 3 pounds higher than her recent Southwell victory .

1/4pt win Jubilee Girl @ 7/2

5.05 Another race with little early pace which gives End Zone an edge as he races prominently and is very rarely far away over this C&D .

1/4pt win End Zone @ 4/1

6.45 All of Mighty Power , After John , Pockley and Atholblair Boy have been successful recently over C&D but now all on testing marks . Hello Me responded well to the drop in the ratings last time with a close 2nd at Wolver . He is 1 from 1 over C&d and star apprentice Harry Burns takes a valuable 3 pounds off .

1/4pt win Hello Me @ 4/1

7.15 Gowanbuster returned from a break with a smart 2nd over C&D off a much reduced mark . Up just 2 pounds and has clear clams , but last win came over 2 years ago . Stallone also comes here on the back of a good run ,a close 3rd at Southwell, but his last win was over 3 years ago ! Wrath Of Hector ran well at Southwell to be 2nd when given a prominent ride . He drops in trip , but not much early about and could take some catching .

1/2pt  ew Wrath Of Hector @ 7/1

7.45 Ustath will find this tougher In handicap after landing a double in classified events but recent C&D winner Jens Bond carried his penalty well next time out and with a good 3 pound claimer aboard , has to enter calculations . Tathmeen is rarely far away and supporters can expect another honest run .

1/4pt ew Tathmeen @ 6/1

8.15 Kraken Power was on a long losing run until dropped to this C&D and comes here on a hat-trick . Just a pound higher , the hat-trick could be on . Spanish Angel finally got it right last time out over C&D , but the 5 pound hit will test . The consistent Yaahobby is more of a danger .

1/2pt win Kraken Power @ 72
