Only Spoofing 8.20 @ 2/1

Foreseeable Future 8.50 @ 4/1

Selected Bangor – good ground on this flat and sharp track

1.40 PREMIUM RACE

2.45 A modest novice hurdle and on the ground and trip, Mays Hill gets the nod .

1/4pt win  Mays Hill @ 5/1

3.20 PREMIUM RACE

3.55 A red hot Class 3 handicap chase and clear chances can be given to all of : Brief Times, Topofthecotswolds and the recently impressive Honey I’m Good , but at the ratings , the able Saint Arvans comes out best at the ratings and wsill be suited stalking the likely strong pace .

1/4pt win Saint Arvans @ 6/1

4.30 The prolific Gavin is now looking on a vulnerable mark and preference is for the Donald McCain youngster Trick of The Tail  who goes handicapping on a fair mark and his best run came over C&D on good ground when racing prominently .

1/4pt win Trick of The Tail @ 9/2

5.40 Sao’s mark is in freefall , despite some of his recent form being pretty good . Trip and ground fine and Brian Hughes rides .

1/4pt  ew Sao @ 8/1

Selected Goodwood – probably good to soft on this undulating , sharp and tricky track

1.50 A unique race , a two and a half mile handicap , and on demanding ground , essential to be with a strong stayer . Calling The Wild is a former winner of this and comes here in top form after landing The Pitman’s Derby but his last run on soft wasn’t up to standard when 6th in the Chester Cup , when Law Of The Sea was 2 lengths ahead of him , and gets the vote .

1/4pt ew Law Of The Sea @ 15/2

2.25 The lightly raced but already very useful Nostrum has at least a 5 pound buffer over anything else in this Group 3 but a couple of questions to answer . This is his first try on soft ground and he has only just returned from a lengthy break , so this could come quick enough , just 3 weeks on . Docklands is a massive improver , winning the Royal Hunt Cup as he pleased and this late player is also proven on the ground .

1/4pt win Docklands @ 9/2

3.00 PREMIUM RACE

3.35 The massively improved Highfield Princess has developed into one of the top sprinters around and has at least a 7 pound advantage over the rest of the field on official ratings , but is odds on . Silky wilkie can be relied upon to run his race and has developed into a useful and determined sprinter . C&D and ground in his favour .

1/4pt  ew Silky Wilkie @ 14/1

4.45 The hat-trick seeking Starlust looks on a workable mark but the nod goes to Flag Of st George , a close 2nd off around this mark last time at Windsor , so C&D should suit . Whoop whoop is on a fair mark and looks the best of the rest .

1/4pt win Flag Of St George

Selected Wolver – all weather – tapeta

3.45 With Cuban Grey and Doctor Mozart sure to set a strong pace , this could drop nicely for the well drawn Victors Dream , who has gone close a few times off around this mark .

1/4pt win Victors Choice @ 7/2

4.20 Not a deep race and the extra furlong won’t be in the favour of short priced fav Mostallim . Clear preference is for recent C&D winner Mudlahhim , and in the context of this race , should get away with the 3 pound hit .

1/2pt win Mudlahhim @ 9/2

Selected Galway – probably good to soft on this undulating and stiff track

5.00 The prominent racing Shecouldbeanything has run very well in all 6 hurdle starts and comes here on the back of two wins in Listed Class, victories which put her on a very good looking opening handicap mark . Fiveonfive and Sundial are in form runners likely to get involved too .

1/4pt win Shecouldbeanything @ 11/2

6.35 The ever reliable Zoffman comes here on a career high mark after another big run , this time on his comeback spin at The Curragh when beaten just a length . He has form over C&D and another honest run expected , especially as this trip is on the sharp side for most of the others.

1/4pt  ew Zoffman @ 9/1

7.40 This will take little winning and a chance can be given to Snowhaven , who’s run some respectable races of late and is trained by Jessica Harrington , who is 2 from 2 in 3yo handicaps here and would be an ideal tonic for the great lady in her battle with breast cancer .

1/4pt  ew Snowhaven @ 18/1

8.40 The late playing Oranmore comes here in top form , and was only beaten 2 lengths under his 10 pound penalty . Another good run expected .

1/4pt  ew Oranmore @ 12/1

Selected Newmarket – good ground on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

6.55 A very open 3yo fillies handicap and all of Raqisa, Sea Me Dance Ragosina , Shazam and Roadway all have clear claims , all ticking many boxes , but over this particular C&D and at the ratings , the latter gets the nod .

1/4pt  win Roadway @ 6/1

8.00 Another race with plenty of in form types but of course all now on higher marks. Night Arc has a 5 pound penalty but this C&d should suit him better than the other penalised runners and looks way overpriced .

Selected Bath – good to soft on this undulating , sharp but stiff track

5.55 The fav is the prolific Big Bard , 3 wins in his last 4 and just 2 pounds higher for a cosy win last time , but drying ground and a slight drop in trip could leave him vulnerable . Apache Star and Autumn Angel both come here on the back of C&D wins , but both have stiff penalties. The nod goes to the 5 time course winner Symbol Of Hope, whose recent form suggests he is not weighted out of things .

1/4pt win Symbol Of Hope @ 9/2

8.05 The reliable All in The Hips has run well here before and mark and ground both fine . Princess Naomi, Beau Roc and Katar all bring good recent form to the table .

1/4pt win  All In The Hips @ 4/1

8.35 The consistent Shesadabber will be well suited to a return to this C&D . She’s been eased a few pounds and has the going in her favour .

1/4pt win Shesadabber @ 4/1

No Bath placepot picks

Selected Musselburgh – good ground on this flat and galloping track

6.10 A most winnable race and recent winner Chief Craftsman has gone close in this race for amateur riders for the last two year , under this jockey and off higher marks . He is a late player as are most of the field , but at the odds worth risking that a few of these set a reasonable gallop .

1/4pt ew Chief Craftsman @ 9/1

6.45 The fleet footed Grey Gray will be suited by the drop back in trip and also this quick track . Very well drawn and on a fair looking mark . Bazball would do very well to double up as she’s up 7 pounds , in grade and her win came on easy ground at the stiff track of Bath .

1/4pt win Grey Gray @ 5/2

7.50 A weak Classified Stakes which could get course winner Without Delay back in the winning groove coming here on the back of some creditable efforts in decent handicaps.

1/4pt win Without Delay @ 4/1

8.20 This Class 3 sprint has a winnable look to it and looks good for the in form Irish raider Only Spoofing , who won this last year off a much higher mark and his form figures for this track are 2 wins and a 2nd . Very well drawn .

1/2pt win Only Spoofing @ 2/1

8.50 Hard to fancy many in a modest finale . Recent soft ground Ayr winner Borough is up a stiff 6 pounds and hasn’t showed much on this kind of ground . The very much in form Foreseeable Future remains on a good mark , likes a quick track and the ground is in his favour . Tricky draw to overcome but will be trying to lead this all the way , and may well succeed .

1/2pt win Foreseeable Future @ 4/1
