2.50 The short priced fav is the expensive Ice Max , who runs in famous colours , who was a promising 4th on debut in the Haydock mud but he was doing all of his best work late and could struggle to land a glove on drying ground and this sharp track, and the winner has done nothing for the form . Buttercross Flyer ran very well over C&D last time in a competitive maiden when a running on 2nd and the winner has won well since . Softer ground today but the sire is an influence in the mud.
