3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Alcopop 11.55 @ 5/1
Camebert Electric 1.55 @ 7/2
Vision Clear 3.35 @ 9/2
Selected Uttoxeter – good to soft on this mostly undulating and sharp track with a long galloping straight .
11.55 It’s hard making a case for many of these and the consistent Alkopop remains on a good mark and stays this trip well . Drying ground is the concern , but it is for most of the field and despite Hurricane Harvey showing a bit more last time , and will be suited to the ground better than anything else , he’s still hard to motivate and the tip is a determined and willing soul.]
1/2pt win Alkopop @ 5/1
12.55 After winning a bumper on his debut , Parc D’Amour did little wrong on his hurdles debut when a good 3rd over C&D and today’s slightly slower ground well in his favour .
1/2pt win Parc D’Amour @ 5/2
1.55 This is certainly more about quantity than quality and despite a further nudge up the ratings the consistent Camembet Electric will again run his usual honest and good race . He drops in trip but has won recently over shorter .
1/2pt win Camabert Electric @ 7/2
2.25 Another race where it’s hard giving many a good chance . The lightly raced novice Kracka Nut , has 2 wins from 4 starts and will find this a lot easier than the Class 2 hurdle he tried last time . He’s a little bit high in the ratings , but the ground is ideal and sees his races out strongly .
1/4pt win Karcka Nut @ 9/2
Selected Fontwell – good ground on this sharp track

1.35 PREMIUM RACE
2.05 PREMIUM RACE
3.35 Vision Clear has run some very big races off higher marks than this and has responded well to the drop in the ratings and comes here on the back of an unlucky last flight fall , when bang in contention . This is far more about quantity than quality and with drying ground very much in his favour , a good run on this track on his CV and Niall Houlihan claiming 5 , and he knows the tip well , fine chance of this prominent racer getting back on the scoresheet .
1/2pt win Vision Clear @ 9/2
No Fontwell placepot
Selected Southwell- all weather – tapeta
4.20 You’d do very well finding the winner in this ultra tricky nursery . Plenty going handicapping for the first time , plenty up in trip , plenty trying the surface for the first time , and nigh impossible to know who’ll respond best to the “ unknowns “
4.50 An unknown package In the ex-French Rames , who’s on a good mark and handles polytrack , and must have claims in a winnable heat . Wadacre Grace has been banging on the door of late and is effective at the trip off around this mark . Handles polytrack but first try on this surface , but worth a dabble .
1/4pt win Wadacre Grace @ 4/1
6.20 Dark shot responded very well to the big drop in the ratings when very tough in the finish to win recently over C&D in higher grade, beating a good field and off just a pound higher looked well worth a try at Wolver next time , but for some reason failed to act on that track or just ran a poor one , which he can , but hard to ignore judged on that C&D win .
1/4pt ew Dark Shot @ 12/1
6.50 PREMIUM RACE
7.20 A good quality sprint and the short priced fav is the back to form late playing Alligator Alley, who ran a cracker in a red hot Class 2 at Newcastle , but looks flattered by that effort , running through beaten horses and is best judged on his recent solid 3rd over C&D off this mark when a length or so behind the prolific and ultra consistent Silky Wilkie , who gets the nod over C&D specialist , the late playing Khabib .
1/4pt win Silky Wilkie @ 4/1
7.50 Quite an open low grade handicap for stayers and I give the nod to the well handicapped Foursome , who ran well here in her first run for Olly Williams , shaping as the longer trip would suit .
1/4pt ew Foursome @ 7/1
8.20 Sweet Revenge , Sociologist and Bugle Major are all rarely far away but find getting their noses in front a severe problem but the latter has been close up in his last few at this trip and mark at Wolver and this could be run to suit this late player .
1/4pt ew Bugle Major @ 7/1
