Cusack 4.35 @ 7/2
San Andreas 5.45 @ 11/2
Eglish 6.45 @ 11/2
Selected Redcar – soft ground on this flat and galloping track
1.35 The prolific Isle Of Dreams , 6 wins in her last 8 ! , Mereside Diva , Blazing Son and Sacred Falls all come here in fine form , all on workable marks , race at their best trip and all handle soft ground , but as three of these could get involved in a skirmish for the lead , the late playing Mereside Diva gets the nod .
1/4pt win Mereside Diva @ 3/1
5.38 Foursome comes here on the back of a 5 lengths win at this trip in the Nottingham mud , her first win in 23 tries . She obviously benefitted from the drop in trip , the prominent ride and the soft ground and with no penalty , likely to take some stopping .
1/4pt win Foursome @ 5/2
Selected Newcastle – all weather – tapeta . The track is stiff and galloping .
4.25 After a good win over C&D off a 5 pound lower mark , Cusack has held his form very well in two subsequent runs in higher grade , and looks good for this winnable apprentice handicap partnered by the talented Ryan Sexton .
3/4pt win Cusack @ 7/2
7.30 The late playing Love Your Work comes here on the back of two narrow defeats , one over C&D off this mark . There is quite a bit of early pace around to help the tip sit off , but is on a long losing run and will have to thread his way through the field .
1/4pt win Love Your Work @ 3/1
Selected Dundalk – all weather – polytrack
5.15 Not a particularly deep race and as recent C&D winner The MPex Kid has a stiff 7 pound penalty and the consistent Jaafel goes up in trip and partnered by a rider finding winners very hard to come by , worth a try on Banana Three , who runs for a good stable and ran respectably last time over C&D and the 2 pound ease and with stable jockey Colin Keane in the saddle , better expected .
1/4pt win Banana Three @ 6/1
5.45 A good quality handicap and the course regular , the useful San Andreas, was a close 3rd over C&D off this lofty mark a few starts back . He’s a very late player and with plenty of early pace , can pick these up late on .
1/2pt win San Andreas @ 11/2
6.45 This is far more about quantity than quality and a clear chance can be given to the in form Eglish who took advantage of a mighty 7 pound drop in the ratings to be good 2nd here last time . That was over 5 furlongs , very much a minimum for him and today’s trip far more suitable . Positive jockey booking .
1/2pt win Eglish @ 11/2
