Gray’s to fly ” Inn” – 4.10

Today’s Multis

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Gifted Angel 3.08 @ 5/2

Gray’s Inn 4.10 @ 15/8

Sly Madam 8.00 @ 9/2

50p ew Trixie & 50p ew treble

Coverdale 1.50 @ 10/1

Bialystok 5.05 @ 12/1

Variety Island 8.45 @ 7/1

Selected Goodwood, soft ground on this undulating , sharp and tricky track

1.50 The late playing Coverdale is a perfect 4 from 4 this season , all in handicaps , and the handicapper still may not have him . He has a smart win on Heavy ground on his CV and the vast majority of his rivals have it to prove in the mud. I can’t ignore having a saver on the mud loving C&D winner Entrancement , who after a demolition over C&D on heavy , had an impossible task last time when trying to give weight to La Isla Mujeres, who was narrowly denied here yesterday off an 11 pound higher mark .

3.00 Aiden O’Brien’s Espionage has the highest rating and no issues with trip or ground , looks like another valuable prize goes across The Irish Sea .

1/2pt  win Espionage @ 7/4

3.35 The very valuable Group 1 Nassau Stakes and it looks very much a match between last year’s winner Nashwa and the prolific and progressive French filly in Blue Rose Cen , who has won  her last two races , both Group 1’s , with consummate ease , and handles the mud very well. .

3/4pt win Blue Rose Cen @ 5/6

4.10 As Gray’s Inn is proven on the ground and trip and unsurprisingly ran well in a Sandown Listed race last time when 4th , racing to a level of 85 , can exploit this valuable nursery off a 12 pound lower mark .

3/4pt win Gray’s Inn  @ 15/8

Selected Nottingham – heavy ground on this flat and galloping track

2.40 All of Thornaby Pear, Trabajo Detecho , course specialist Enderman and Impeller all come here in fine form and all handle soft ground . At the ratings, Impeller could nab a deserved win . Recent Leicester winner Momaer could struggle with both the 9 pound hit and the switch to soft ground .

1/4pt win  Impeller @ 7/2

3.50 The late playing Cariad went close over C&D last time in the mud , and her ability to go in the ground gives her the edge over her rivals , off the same mark .

1/2pt win Cariad @ 9/4

4.25 Not a deep race and a decent opportunity for the ultra consistent Damascus Steel . Stays the trip well and has run well on good to soft .

1/2pt win  Damascus Steel @ 11/2

5.00 This has a very winnable look to it with practically the whole field having it to prove on the ground. Sophar Sogood has responded well to the ease in the ratings with two improved recent runs . Soft ground is fine as is the longer trip .

1/2pt ew Sophar Sogood @ 8/1

Selected Galway – good to soft on this undulating and stiff track

3.20 After landing two impressive wins off much lower marks , Cheers Again went close at Cork off around this mark and from a nice draw could land a winnable heat .

1/2pt ew Cheers Again @ 12/1

5.05 The lightly raced youngster Bialystok runs in famous colours for the maestro Willie Mullins . He was a facile winner in his recent first handicap , beating 17 others at Punchestown on easy ground , so this C&D should be fine as too conditions. He won as he pleased that day and could well overcome the 9 pound hit .

1/2pt  ew Bialystock @ 12/1

5.40 This is more about quantity than quality and it offers a decent opportunity to the consistent Butterfly Garden , who handles the ground and despite a wide draw , unlikely to be far away .

1/4pt ew Butterfly Garden @ 14/1

Selected Stratford – good to soft on this flat and sharp track

2.33 A chance can be given to all five but the nod goes to Post No Bills, whose recent lesser effort can be forgiven on heavy ground  and previously was a solid 2nd at Aintree off this mark . The ground is ideal , has run well here before and Sean Bowen rides .

1/2pt win Post No Bills @ 7/2

3.08 Gifted Angel, a 78 rated on thee flat did well enough on his debut over C&D , and the long priced winner has followed up well under a penalty and is preferred to City Of Ruins , 3rd of 5 at Hexham, not ideal for this test .

3/4pt win Gifted Angel @ 5/2

4.18 The front running Aliomaana is just 2 pounds higher for a gutsy win over C&D last time and will again run a big race

1/2pt win Aliomaana @ 9/4

4.50 Arcade Attraction was very well backed and won very well on his first run for Sophie Leech over C&D but the 7 pound hit will test , and this looks more competitive . Admiral’s Sunset was a shock winner over C&D three starts back , and has found it tough going upped in grade the last twice . Back in Class 5 , could surprise again .

1/4pt win Admiral’s Sunset @ 8/1

Selected Newcastle – all weather – tapeta . The track is stiff and galloping

4,56 The dual course winner Oscar Doodle can be relied upon to run his race over this C&D , Remains on a workable mark and in a race for apprentices , young Archie Young has hit the back of the net a few times of late. The tip is closely matched with the consistent We Still Believe on C&D form .

1/4pt win Oscar Doodle @ 7/2  1/4pt rev fc Oscar Doodle – We Still Believe

8.15 The lightly raced Muddy Lynn came off the pace to score easily recently and last time was unlucky in running on soft turf off this mark . With plenty of early pace around, smart chance of another C&D victory .

1/4pt win Muddy Lynn @ 7/2

8.45 The bang in form Mutanaaseq can race on a 4 pound lower mark on tapeta , but in 8 runs on this surface , can muster only one place ! Variety Island comes here on the back of two big runs here and this prominent racer looks a very solid ew play .

1/2pt ew Variety Island @ 7/1

No Newcastle nor Epsom placepot picks

I’m just having the one play at Epsom where the going is soft on this undulating, sharp and tricky track .

8.00 Sly Madam has held her form pretty well off her new lofty rating . She is 2 from 2 over C&D and goes very well on soft ground . Late player

1/2pt win Sly Madam @ 9/2
