Selected Chepstow – good to soft on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

1,30 None of those making their seasonal reappearances have good form running fresh and of those who are race fit , both Great D’Ange and To Be Sure are unlikely to appreciate this stiff circuit . Favori De Sivola hasn’t been disgraced in his last two runs and has dropped to 8 pounds below his last winning mark . He’s run well here before and is preferred .

1/2pt  win Favori De Sivola @ 8/1

3.15 Chances can be given to many of these but certainly grounds for having a play at the tip at long odds . He’s a most willing racehorse and came into his last race 2 from 2 over C&D , but took a fall when just getting into the race . He goes well fresh and is tactically versatile . He remains 6 pounds higher than his last win , but remains unexposed as a chaser , especially around this C&D .

Selected Catterick – heavy ground on this undulating and sharp track

2.17 The consistent Genesius is probably a few pounds too high in the ratings for his liking but he acts well on soft ground . has run OK here before and can be relied upon to run his race. Tactically versatile .

1/2pt  win Genesius @ 3/1

2,52 PREMIUM RACE

3.22  Cold Henry has claims but hard being with him at short odds, despite his good record over C&D in the mud. Beggarman is most consistent , handles the mud and looks a tidy ew play in a race lacking depth .

1/2pt  ew Beggarman @ 13/2

3,52 The short list is very long and all of : Monaer , Tiriac , Music Society , Glendown and Selby’s Pride all bring good recent soft ground form to the table . The latter comes here on the back of 3 good placed efforts , responding well to the drop in the ratings and another good run expected .

4.10 PREMIUM RACE

8.15 a wide open finale with plenty of these coming here in fine form and proven over this C&D . These are : Sydney Bay, Blackcurrent , Brother Dave , and Kasino but the nod goes to the feasibly handicapped Flavius Titus , proven on the surface and shapes like this stiff C&D will suit.

1/4pt  ew Flavius Titus @ 14/1
