Lockdown Lass 1.35 @ 10/3
War Rooms 1.50 Donny
Selected Donny – probably soft ground on this flat and galloping track
1.15 Ralph Beckett is having a terrific season with his juveniles and has a very smart record here with 2yos , including first time out . Morning Light is well related and worth a dabble .
1/4pt win Morning Light @ 9/2
1.50 War Rooms didn’t come cheap at £200,000 , but already looks money well spent as he stormed clear on debut wining by a long looking 5 lengths over C&D in the mud , and has Group 1 entries .
1/2pt win War Rooms @ 2/1

Selected Chester – probably good to soft on this flat and very sharp track
1.35 The admirably consistent Lockdown Lass holds her form very well despite frequent nudges up the ratings . The ground is very much in her favour and is a C&D winner . I’d have been much more confident if jockey Josie Gordon wasn’t on the Chester cold list .
1/2pt win Lockdown Lass @ 10/3
2.45 Pocket The Packet very much enjoyed a purple patch last season , winning 5 times in 8 starts ! but has changed stables and found life hard going racing off a stiff mark. He’s working her way down the ratings again and has run well a few times of late off his reduced mark . The draw could have been kinder and soft ground an unknown , but this isn’t competitive and happy to play at long odds .
1/4pt ew Pocket The Packet @ 14/1

Selected Sandown – good to firm on this stiff and galloping track
2.40 Devil’s Angel has made the 500 mile round trip from Jedd O’Keefe’s stable 3 times , and gone home twice triumphant . He’s dropped to a really good mark and there was plenty of encouragement from his last run . There’s plenty of early pace around to aid his late playing style and shouldn’t encounter any traffic problems drawn out wide .
1/2pt win Devil’s Angel @ 5/1
4.25 Not a deep race and the well handicapped front running Azano could take some catching on this stiff circuit .
1/4pt win Azano @ 10/3
5.00 There was very little between Peony and Coco Jamboo when both came off the pace to be excellent 3rd and 4th of 18 in a fast ground York handicap , but as the tip had to go around a wall of horses to get into contention , is preferred . Swiss Star has it to prove up in trip and ratings .
1/4pt win Peony @ 7/2

Sorry , can’t find anything worth risking hard earned upon at Salisbury .
