Gingerbread 1.15 @ 5/1

Aazza 3.20 @ 5/2

Selected Newcastle – good ground on this stiff and galloping track

2.10 Only three can be really be considered and on the quick ground , the nod goes to the consistent Royal Mogul ahead of Chapel Green and Chase A Fortune .

1/4pt win Royal Mogul @ 7/4

3.20 This looks very much a match between recent easy Ayr winner , the reliable Lone Star and recent Donny winner Aazza , who beat a big field by 20 lengths , in her first try at this trip over hurdles . She has a massive 13 pound penalty , but very much unexposed as a stayer . Has run well here before and ground shouldn’t be an issue and preferred over Lone Star who does have stamina issues , which will be exploited on this stiff C&D.

1/2pt win Aazza @ 5/2

Selected Sandown – probably good ground on this stiff and galloping track

1.15 The fav is juvenile hurdler Freddy Robinson , on a cracking mark in his first handicap as his latest good 4th in  a Class 1 at Musselburgh was rated at 115 , and races off just 106 , but that was a big step up in form and this is a much stiffer circuit , especially for a youngster . Preference is for recent Exeter winner Gingerbread , in just his first completed handicap , beating a couple of in form rivals well . Down a bit in trip but in race for conditional jockeys, the winning jockey, Jack Martin , keeps the ride and claims a very valuable 8 pounds .

1/2pt win Gingerbread @ 5/1

1.50 Everybody seemed to have lost faith in the once very useful Quel Destin, except for trainer Paul Nicholas ,  a former 3 time graded winner , but racecourse appearances now rare and mixed some decent runs with some abject ones . He comes here on the back of beating the useful Christopher Wood , making all at Lingfield , which puts him on a good mark today . The fav is course regular Corrigeen Rock , another front runner , who again makes the 850 mile round for Grand National winning trainer Lucinda Russell , which has paid off so far with a win and 2 places from 3 tries, but is certainly now on a demanding mark . Neither Bun Doran nor Llandinabo Lad can be safely ruled out .

1/2pt win Quel Destin @ 2/1

4.10 PREMIUM RACE

4.45 A red hot handicap for mostly in form and unexposed young hurdlers , and you’d do very well picking the winner . I’ll be watching for future clues .

Selected Leicester – good ground on this stiff and galloping track

2.35 Not a deep race and despite a further nudge up the ratings , the prolific front running dual C&D winner Ben Buie will relish the ground and take a bit of catching .

3/4pt win Ben Buie @ 11/4

3.10 This stiffer track is a concern for recent Fakenham winner Cloudy Wednesday while the drop in trip won’t help out and out stayer Ya Know Yaseff . Barnay has dropped to a very good mark , did better last time and runs a stiff track well .

1/4pt win Barnay @ 8/1

3.45 The consistent The Boat just couldn’t handle the deep ground last time and finished exhausted pulled up. That could have left a scar so this should be fought out by the in form pair of Dreamsundermyfeet and Flann , but the longer trip will favour the better handicapped tip .

1/2pt win Dreamsundermyfeet @ 10/3

4.20 A modest Hunter Chase which should go the way of the prolific point to pointer Getting Closer .

1/2pt win Getting Closer @ 7/4

Selected Chelmsford City – all weather – polytrack

6.00 PREMIUM RACE

6.30 The drop in trip is very unlikely to help the in form Boafo Boy and as Politics is now on a stiff enough mark ,preference for dual course winner Got No Dollars after a decent 5th off this mark last time .

1/4pt win Got No Dollars @ 6/1

7.00 It’s a very weak classified stakes and it will be disappointing if the clear form horse in Clearance , two good runs of late , proven over C&D and well drawn , fails to collect .

1/2pt win Clearance @ 2/1

7.30 This has a winnable look to it and the consistent Henry The Fifth comes here on the back of a good effort at Kempton , in a far better race at this trip just beaten 2 lengths and the 2nd has won twice since . Nice ew play .

1/4pt  ew Henry The Fifth @ 10/1

8.00 The Bay Warrior has gone close over C&D the last three runs but slight preference for another in form track regular in Engrave , still on a workable mark .

1/4pt win Engrave @ 6/1
