Riversway , a bit like her stable , has been in and out this season , but three runs back , came smoothly off the pace to win comfortable over C&D and just 2 pounds higher today . Worth a risk that she can put subsequent lesser efforts behind her .

She disappointed next time when fancied in a big field Donny handicap , but if back to form , can get the better of recent easy winner Red Maids , 6 pounds higher for landing a win in lower grade and Fools And Horses , who could need a stiffer track .

1.50 A handful of these bring very decent form to the table but I’m willing to forgive Cajetan’s flop last time as it came on the tricky track of Lingfield from as bad draw and previously ran a good 2nd at Salisbury , just about the best form on show, and this C&D should suit fine .

2.45 The admirably prolific Barrolo , 4 wins and a 2nd this season has a bit to prove up in the ratings and trying tapeta while this stiff C&D may well not suit another form horse in Fleur De Mer . There isn’t much early pace in this contest which should favour those racing neat the front . The consistent C&D winner Western Beat can race prominently and remains on a workable mark and should again run her race. If there was a strong pace , the late playing dual course winner Danielsflier would be very likely to out run his long odds .
