Sir Allen 4.50 @ 10/1

Bellagio Man 8.15 @ 8/1

Moore Clouds 2.30 @ 10/3

Cheltenham – soft ground on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

3.30 He’s a perfect 5 from 5 and already Constitution Hill is looking like becoming one of the all-time greats. He has won all of his races without breaking sweat and is clearly the highest rated in the field and bids to be the shortest priced winner ever of The Champion Hurdle and hard seeing this C&D winner and sot ground lover being caught by the clear danger , the prolific State Man .

4.50 You would do very well to get the winner of this 22 strong field , a juvenile handicap , and which is often the case , the handicapper hasn’t been generous at all with the opening marks of many of these . Just over half of the field travel from Ireland , and it looks very likely that the prize will go across The Irish Sea as some of these have actually been allocated a mark in line with their form . Sir Allen was only average on the flat and it caught the eye when he was prominent in the market on  his hurdles debut finishing 2nd of 20 on  deep ground at Cork giving Blood Destiny a good race , and that one is the 6/4 fav for The Triumph Hurdle . He has won his two subsequent races and 3 of the last 4 winners of this race won the race he landed last time out . C&D should be fine as too is the soft ground .

1/2pt  ew Sir Allen @ 10/1

5.30 The even money fav is the ultra consistent Gaillard Du Mesnil , who has at least 10 pounds advantage over the field, but like the vast majority of this field, steps up considerably in trip and on the evidence of his running on 3rd in a soft ground novice chase here , every chance of staying , but it is off-putting that he has won just 2 of his last 9 races , and been placed in the other 7 . The ground is against Chemical Energy but both Mahler Mission and Minella Crooner will relish the conditions and both give good signs of staying , nod goes to the latter , 4 wins and 5 places in just 10 races .

1/4pt  ew Minella Crooner @ 7/1

Selected Sedgefield – soft ground on this undulating and sharp track

2.30 The front running Moore Clouds has gone close twice of late , once off this mark . Has gone well here before and soft ground no issue and this isn’t the deepest race ever .

1/2pt win Moore Clouds @ 10/3

3.10 Since switching to front running , Telhimlisten has demolished the fields in those two races , and has no penalty today , but does go up half a mile in trip, which could catch him out on this soft ground and other front runners are vin the field. Red Ochre has returned to form of late and as he runs this C&D well on soft ground , worth a dabble at long odds .

1/4pt  ew Red Ochre @ 28/1

4.30 Chti Balko is not the useful hurdler he once was , peak form a win off a lofty mark of 135, but has been given every assistance by the handicapper and responded very well last time out when just outpointed late on in the Catterick mud. He’s very likely to have his own way up front today and could take some reeling in .

1/2pt win  Chti Balko @ 7/2

5.10 Trac comes here on the back of 3 wins and a 2nd but now on a testing mark and not so potent on soft ground . The consistent dual C&D winner Tom Creen , relishes soft ground and was caught out over C&D last time in the higher grade and drying ground. Good opportunity for this prominent racer .

1/2pt win Tom Creen @ 11/4

Selected Southwell – all weather – tapeta

4.40 Not a deep race an the fav is the luckless Masham Moor, 3 good runs of late and this C&d winner stays on a good mark but in this race for amateur riders I’m with the well handicapped front running Nine Elms who’ll receive every assistance from the evergreen Serena Brotherton .

1/4pt win Nine Elms @ 10/3

5.20 The late playing Biplane runs this C&D very well and holds his form well despite now being on a tough mark , but with plenty of pace around , and ridden by the excellent Simon Walker , could swoop to conquer .

1/4pt win Biplane @ 9/2

6.00 Legal Reform has run well the last twice , both times from the front , but with other front runners in the field, this could  be set up for the in form Lilikoi .

1/4pt win Lilikoi @ 9/2

6.30 Uncle Matthew runs in the Godolphin blue and is trained by The Gosdens , so fair to expect him to click soon and nothing that shabby about his latest run .

1/4pt win Uncle Matthew @ 7/1

7.00 A red hot sprint handicap and I can’t find the right one .

7.30 Liberated Lad was given no chance at all last time out from a poor ride . Remains on a workable mark and effective over C&D and stronger handling today.

1/4pt win Liberated Lad @ 7/2

8.00 C&D winner Bond Spirit continues to run well and dangers are thin on the ground .

1/2pt win Bond Spirit @ 11/4

8.30 Autumn Angel clicked very nicely with a clear win over C&D last time and the 3 pound hit could have been much worse .

1/4pt win Autumn Angel @ 7/2

Selected Newcastle  – all weather – tapeta . The track is stiff and galloping .

5.00 A low grade classified stakes and the pair of most interest are Breguet Boy and Visitant , who both come here with good recent form overv C&D in handicaps . Hard to split , but at the odds the tip looks safe ew .

1/2pt  ew Visitant @ 11/2

5.40 The very wonderful Dubai Jeanius comes here on a 6 timer ! but all wins gained at Southwell . the 5 pound hit will test as will a switch of track . The short priced fav is the lightly raced Muzaffar , who looks generously rated in  his first handicap but preference is for the late playing recent C&D winner Legendary Day off just a 3 pound higher mark .

1/4pt win Legendary Day @ 3/1

6.15 The consistent Silver Nightfall remains on a workable mark and the switch back to this track in his favour .

1/4pt win Silver Nightfall @ 15/8

7.45 Gunnerside will again  run his race but patience must be wearing thin with so many places and no wins , and frequently weakening late on . Recent C&D winner Final Account ran well again last time and preferred .

1/4pt win Final Account @ 10/3

8.15 Bellagio Man just doesn’t know how to run a bad race and as he remains on a good mark and potent over C&D , this late player looks a cracking ew play .

1/2pt  ew Bellagio Man @ 15/2
