Dublin Four 6.20 @ 5/2
Selected Donny- good to firm on this flat and galloping track
1.00Plenty of in form runners but both Mashaan and Back From Dubai have to prove they can transfer their ability on the all weather to quick turf , which is unlikely looking at their records and recent Redcar 2nd frog and Toad , ran well in the mud in that race, but recent runs on quick turf have been disappointing . G’Daay put together a cracking series of runs last season ending in a good win on the Chelmsford City polytrack , from a bad draw, but is proven on quick turf . He returns to the fray on a 2 pound higher mark , which looks manageable but a bit worried that the usual cheekpieces are missing .
1/ 4 pt win G’Daay @ 7/1
2.15 The admirably consistent Yukon Mission finally landed a few wins after 18 tries, 15 of them hitting the frame ! and returned to duties with another consistent effort when a close 3rd in the Thirsk mud , doing well as all of the action was on the other side of the track . The drying ground is not in her favour and in a race where few have a clear chance, I prefer Recent Wolver winner Sarah’s Verse , who’s only 2 pounds higher and this late has good form off around this mark, trip and ground and taken to double up with Laura Pearson aboard , who in 6 partnerships has 3 wins and 2 places !
½ pt win Sarah’s Verse @ 11/4

Selected Perth – good to soft on this flat and sharp track, speed track
2.40 A wide open marathon in this Highland Chase , and the short list is extremely long , very hard to rule many out but one of the Irish raiders in School Lane has been pretty consistent and is proven at this trip, so worth a dabble .

Selected Sandown – good to firm on this stiff and galloping track
1.50 Many of these 3yos are unexposed but hard to ignore the chance of the hat-trick seeking Wanees , who runs in high profile colours and significantly stays with the owners who have significantly trimmed down their operation aiming for quality not quantity . He was too green to do himself justice on debut , but put that behind landing a double, the quality of which puts him on a good mark . He interestingly had a Group 1 entry later in the season , but wisely connections have chosen to exploit a very workable mark . Nicely drawn , Jim Crowley rides and has winning form on fast turf and on a similar track.
¾ pt win Wanees @7/2
2.25 Only three go and they are extremely closely matched at the ratings , but Foxes Tales present mark does look flattering and a there Is little between the prolific Mostahdef and the useful Juan Elcano , the latter has to be the play at the odds but also proven on quick turf and this kind of C&D .
¼ pt win Juan Elcano @ 5/1
3.00 At the ratings , the classy Alcohol Free just has to turn up , as she has least a stone in hand over her rivals , but she did end the season under a cloud and the first time hood is rarely used by trainer Andy Balding , could be a boilover !.

Selected Southwell – good ground on this flat and galloping track
4.35 We are all very wise now why bookies were knocked down in the rush in Clear The runway’s first handicap chase , backed in from long odds into 11/8 fav , despite being way out of the weights , and hosed in , and is unlucky not be unbeaten over fences as a riding error resulted in a nose defeat and a late stumble resulted In a narrow defeat last time on good ground at Market Rasen to Give Me A Moment who was landing a hat-trick and sandwiched between those two runs was a facile win over C&D but the front running Away At dawn could take a bit of catching around here and only 4 pounds higher for a tenacious win last time. The other three all come here in smart form ., but Jamacho likely to need the run, Getaway Luv needs softer ground and Morgansterg has a stiff penalty and prefers a longer trip .
¼ pt ew Away At Dawn @ 7/1
6.10 Hardy Boy has no penalty for a good win at Huntingdon last time out at this trip and similar ground, but could be ill at ease around this sharp left handed track as he’s only proven going right handed. The Vollan comes here in good form and has a good record here but the drop in trip is a negative . Ugo De Misselot is a consistent maiden , likely to break his duck soon and could be tonight but like the look of a longshot in Rock The house , who hasn’t had many chances and backed up a good win at Wetherby with a solid effort when 5th at Huntingdon . He returns after a 6 months break , the same length of time before his Wetherby success .
¼ pt ew Rock The House @ 16/1
7.10 Bardd is a long standing maiden , but has gone close a few times and has never been so low in the handicap . He comes here on the back of a gritty run at Worcester , and the winner has gone in again and this slightly shorter trip could result in it being his special day .
¼ pt ew Bardd @ 7/1

Selected Chepstow – good ground on this undulating , stiff and galloping track
5.50 Plenty with a chance in this competitive handicap . Kateson could have been doing better of late but has an excellent record here and is down in the ratings and grade, Itacare sluiced in last time and there could be more to come up in trip . I’m A Starman lost little in defeat last time , while the consistent Flying Nun continues to run well . Megaudais Speed landed a deserved win last time and despite a rise in grade and the ratings , goes well here and is bred to appreciate the longer trip ????

6.20 Commis D’Office needs softer ground while L’Air Du Vent’s recent 3rd signalled a welcome return to form , but it wasn’t the strongest of heats . Financier is still struggling and course specialist Pink Eyed Pedro showed he was back in the groove last time with an honourable 6th over the National Fences last time but Dublin Four has been very unlucky not to supplement his Newbury win and can put the record straight with trip, ground and mark in his favour.
½ pt win Dublin Four @ 5/2
6.50 Irish Hill was caught out by the drying ground last time out and no reason why it shouldn’t be the same tonight . Orchard grove landed a 4 timer in the Autumn before finding the extended trip just too far . He has clear claims if ready to go after a 4 months break but the nod goes to the useful and reliable Valentino Dancer, who when last seen 6 months ago was a good 2nd over C&D on this ground and around this mark . Worth risking the absence .
½ pt win Valentino Dancer @ 4/1
