3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Team Leader 2.05 @ 9/4
Uallrightharry 4.00 @ 5/1
Uberman 2.50 @ 5/2
No advice for Ireland today , some good racing , but wide open mostly .
Selected Ffos Las – good ground on this flat and galloping track
1.35 Harper’s Brook carries the dreaded penalty and drying ground is a further issue . Both Art Of Illusion and Glengeever ran well last time but at the trip and ground , the latter is preferred .
¼ pt win Glengeever @ 3/1
2.05 The slightly quicker ground is the only issue regarding Time Leader , a good 3rd over C&D on his first start for the good stable of Tom Lacey , and opposition today most modest .
¾ pt win Time Leader @ 9/4
3.50 Lord Bryan is finally responding to the ease in the ratings and also the better ground and back over a more appropriate trip and is taken to just get the better of Mr Katanga .
¼ pt win Lord Bryan @ 4/1
Ffos Las placepot
Selected Newbury – good ground on this flat and galloping track
3.56 Looks very much a match between the pair of Godolphin runners but despite Walk Of stars being odds on , Hafit has much stronger form and proven over C&D and the ground ,which his stablemate is not .
½ pt win Hafit @ 6/4
5.40 PREMIUM RACE
Selected Market Rasen – good ground on this mostly flat and sharp track.
3.01 It’s very hard to knock the prolific and determined Thirtyfourstitches, 3 wins and a fall in his last 4 , and is dual course winner , but the drop in trip, quicker ground and penalty will certainly have a bearing and I’m having a dabble on the ex-Irish Gloire D’Athon , who shaped up pretty well last time at around trip and ground .
¼ pt win Gloire D’Athon @ 15/2
5.21 In a modest finale it will be most disappointing if the inform Smugglers Blues can’t put this to bed with the trip , ground and probably track in his favour .
½ pt win Smugglers Blues @ 7/4
No Market Rasen placepot
Selected Southwell – all weather – tapeta
1.57 Definite signs that dual course winner The Retriever is back in the groove and was denied only narrowly last time when making a bold bid from the front . He’s likely to try and make all again and with fitness levels improving, could be hard to catch . The hat-trick seeking Arlo’s Surprise and the unpredictable Van Dijk , are both dual course winners but both step up from classified grade .
¼ pt ew The Retriever @ 7/1
2,32 A chance can be given to a good half dozen , but with a strong pace assured , the late playing Bobby Joe Leg , may just nick this and is a pound lower than his recent C&D win .
¼ pt ew Bobby Joe Leg @ 11/1
4.17 PREMIUM RACE
4.52 PREMIUM RACE
Selected Plumpton – Probably good ground on this slightly undulating and sharp track
2.15 Very much a match but as Saligo Bay is making a right meal of it shedding his hurdles maiden tag , preference is for Sublime Heights , who ran to a pretty good level last time out , it coming at the trip and ground .
¼ pt win Sublime Heights @ 9/4
2.50 The reliable Uberman would like slightly more give, but not as much as mud loving Dunemeno, and a deserved win very possible.
1/4pt win Uberman @ 5/2
3.25 The prolific and progressive Bourbali looks well capable of defying a 7 pound penalty and demolishing his rivals over C&D when given his usual prominent ride and the hat-trick looks on .
¾ pt win Bourbali @ 7/4
4.00 The consistent Ualltightharry just can’t nail one but he goes very well here , likes the C&D and ground and up against beatable rivals .
½ pt ew Ualltightharry @ 5/1
4.35 A valuable and red hot Class 2 handicap and all can be given a serious chance ,but youngster Swinging London could find it all happening a bit too quick around this C&D and ground. The prolific Aucunrisque lost little in defeat at Aintree recently in a Grade 1 Hurdle ,but had a very hard race and will do well to land this , despite having a clear chance on form and the ratings . The lightly raced Midnight Legacy sluiced in on his first handicap , and this lightly raced sort could well be up to the 8 pound higher mark , Mark Of Gold beat a good one last time at Newbury so has to be considered off just a 2 pound higher mark but the outsider of the field , Antunes is far from out of this , a close 3rd off this mark in a good contest at Wetherby and a good win over fences last time off a 9 pound higher mark than today .
¼ pt ew Antunes @ 16/1
5.10 PREMIUM RACE
5.45 Plodder age Of wisdom needs a much longer trip while the consistent Fred Bear ticks plenty of boxes and was a good 2nd over C&D last time off this mark and ground , but the jockey is severely struggling for a winner so preference is for the consistent Danzini, two good placed efforts of late at the trip , ground and mark .
¼ pt win Danzini @ 5/1
