Selected Longchamp – good to soft on this flat and galloping track .
12.15 This looks very much a two horse war and clear preference is for recent close Group 3 2nd Bolshkinov over the unbeaten Breizh Sky , graduating from Listed company , and was all out to win last time .
3/4pt win Bolshkinov @ 15/8
12.45 The C&D winner The Good Man , holds his form well and likely to be too good for the very hard to win with British raider in Ebor 4th John Leeper .
3/4pt win The Good Man @ 15/8
1.30 The short priced fav is the class dropper Sealiway , but wins have been hard to come by of late and could be worried out of this by the useful and tough Monty .
1/4pt ew Monty @ 6/1
2.48 The race of the day , the £200,000 Prix Du Moulin , but too many ifs and buts in this for me .

3.33 Vagalame is rarely far away and has been competing very well in Group 2s and will relish the easier company.

Selected Fontwell – good ground on this sharp track
1.30 Things have certainly clicked with Dynamite Kate of late, and despite a 9 pound hit, she finds herself in a weak contest and this C&D winner will be hard to beat , but is odds on .

2.05 The only certainty here is the strong pace with all of Nazwa, Sofia’s Rock and Glimpse Of Gold known for front running , so likely to harm each other’s chance battling for early dominance and using too much petrol . The nod goes to recent C&D close 2nd Technological , a late player , who can overcome the 3 pound hit .
1/4pt win Technological @ 3/1
2.40 A weak contest and respect has to be paid to last year’s winner Moans Cross , despite being almost impossible to predict . Easy Bucks has had little racing on the last few years , but did well returning from over a year off chasing home a progressive one at Perth, but up a cruel 4 pounds and the drop in trip and the possibility of being a bouncer, make him hard to support . The prolific Midnight Jewel ran a cracker on her chase debut , and should oblige, but not for me at evens .

2.55 PREMIUM RACE
4.05 It’s hard fancying many in this stayer’s handicap, and even the fav , the youngster The Predicator is 3 pounds higher for a win in lower grade . Dance to Paris has a C&D win on her CV off around this mark and was a cosy winner on the all weather off just a pound lower when beating Blame It On Sally , who won just a few days ago. She was well beaten last time at Kempton but that has turned out to be a very hot race . When successful last year she just got the better of Ghadbbaan , who is worth a rev fc.
1/2pt ew Dance In Paris @ 22/1
4.40 The favourite in this competitive handicap is Mr Big Stuff , who has been running pretty well in much tougher company , but he has recently lost his undercarriage , and the stable has a shocking record when giving their inmates the snip. The admirably consistent Shaladar, 2 wins and 3 places in his last 5 , is just 2 pounds higher , but his pedigree doesn’t support this longer trip. The lightly raced Samuel Spade sluiced in at Haydock in his first try at this trip , but the 7 pound hit and rise in grade will test . The lightly raced Forgivable made all to win at Redcar, beating a pair of reliable yardsticks and has backed that up with two very solid efforts off around this mark , the latest in a Class 2 hot handicap . Nicely drawn for a prominent racer and a nice ew play .
1/2pt ew Forgivable @ 7/1
5.15 A wide open finale with plenty of early pace . The lightly raced Riversway is 2 from 2 at this trip and last timed switched to front running and was always in control at Chester , but the 6 pound hit will test , as will being upped in grade and there are plenty others in the field with ideas about leading , and with it being an apprentices handicap, it’ll be easy for those up front to go a bit quicker than they should be , early doors . Mattice is in cracking form and backed up a smart win at Donny with a narrow defeat at Newcastle , and just two pounds higher , but looks drawn out of things with all the pace drawn high . The strong pace is likely to set this up for a late player and recent Beverley winner , May Blossom is just 2 pounds higher and has a very able rider aboard , and she’s also run well on this kind of track .
