3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble
Sabbatical 4.40 @ 7/1
A Different Kind 3.15 @ 5/1
Emily Dickinson 3.45 @ 4/1
Selected Limerick , soft ground on this undulating and quite easy track
2.25 This looks a match between the prolific pair of Ambitious Fellow and The Friday Man , and both of these late players will be favoured by how the race will be run . I give the nod to the former who has showed recent progressive form .
1/4pt win Ambitious Fellow @ 5/2
3.00 The very useful Queen’s Brook ended last season with a 2nd in the Mares race at The Cheltenham Festival, again running to her lofty mark of 144 , but worrying for odds on players is the fact she’s only won 1 of her last 6 . Heaven Help Us hasn’t really been firing but there could be a turn up here with the unexposed Klibarry Chloe , a pretty decent bumper but is 2 from 2 over hurdles, the latest an impressive win over C&D on deep ground, doing something which doesn’t happen here often , giving them a start and a beating . On official ratings she has lots to find with the aforementioned pair , but is an unexposed mare on the up.
1/4pt win Klibarry Chloe @ 7/1
3.35 PREMIUM RACE
Selected Curragh – heavy ground on this undulating , stiff and galloping track
3.10 Moss Trucker is a terrific racehorse and comes here on the back of a terrific effort in The Prix L’Abbaye , when fluffing the start , but still passing a host of horses to be 5th of 18 on deep ground . He’s highly consistent and holds his form very well . If this was over 5 furlongs he’d be a banker , but question marks upped to 6 , but should still be good enough , just a dabble .
1/4pt win Moss Trucker @ 7/4
3.45 Emily Dickinson has kept the warmest of company this season , and just the one win scant reward for her consistent efforts . She was a running on close 5th in The English St Leger ,and again ran a blinder at Longchamp on deep ground to be a close 4th . Her day in the Sun can come now tackling 2 miles .
1/2pt win Emily Dickinson @ 4/1
4.55 Another good run can be expected by the late playing and in form Zepheron , nicely drawn , effective over C&D and relishes the mud .
1/4pt ew Zepheron @ 9/1
The Curragh placepot
Selected Aintree – probably good to soft on this flat and galloping track
1.30 PREMIUM RACE
2.05 PREMIUM RACE
2.40 With 4 front runners in the field , who are very likely to spoil each other’s chance , this looks likely to be fought out by the very useful trio of Hitman , Do Your Job and Miller’s Bank , who are all on fair marks, will be effective over C&D and all with good records racing fresh but at the odds , a small play on the tip .
1/4pt win Miller’s Bank @ 11/2
3.15 This has a winnable look to it and a good opportunity for the prolific novice hurdler A Different Kind . He landed his first 5 races last year , with some strong prominent racing , and was far from disgraced in a Cheltenham Grade 2 on ground quick enough , but took too much on in his final race in a very hot Grade 1 here . He’s on a very fair mark and is terrier like in the finish .
1/2pt win A Different Kind @ 5/1
4.30 Youngster Kinondo Kinetu is 4 from 4 over fences , and is getting better and better , and could well be up to the 8 pound hit .
1/2pt win Kinondo Kinetu @ 15/8
Selected Ffos Las – probably soft ground on this flat and galloping track
3.30 PREMIUM RACE
4.40 This has a winnable look to it as the ground has gone wrong for many . Sabbatical goes well fresh , remains on a fair mark , has run well here before and soft ground no issue .
1/2pt win Sabbatical @ 7/1
