5.00 Dynakite was well supported at Kempton last time to put some poor runs behind him and scrambled home so the 5 pound hit and the switch to tapeta make it an unlikely double. After some disappointing efforts , Broughton’s Flame has his mojo back and comes here on a hat-trick , but the 4 pound hit puts him out of his comfort zone. Pitsburg has gone very close here the last twice but slight preference is for Velma , who was just behind him over C&D after making a tardy start .

5.30 Lots of unexposed types and also a trio who have won already on just their second starts .Roaring Legend did well on debut to be 2nd , probably the best form in the race but makes no appeal at short odds with so many potential improvers .
6.00 Only 3 go in this Class 3 , but still hard to be sure . The useful Shouldhavebeenaring had Alpha Capture behind at Newcastle and no real reason why he shouldn’t confirm the form but the much improved filly Glorious Angel runs this track very well and is not to be underestimated . Happy t0o watch .

6.30 After looking hard to win with , Justcallmepete comes here on a 5 timer , the last three wins coming over C&D . He scrambled home a short head last time which makes you think this further 3 pound nudge could be too much , but this isn’t a deep heat with the in form and very well handicapped Murbih much better at a furlong less and Politics on now a stiff enough mark . Sir Robin needs to do much better than his comeback spin when a well beaten 3rd but the prolific Alafdhaal was only 2nd over C&D last time , and is another with a 3 pound nudge up the ratings ???

7.30 Full marks to the progressive Comedian Leader , 3 wins and a 2nd in his last 4 races , 2 of them over C&D and the 4 pound hit not sufficient to keep him out of the picture. Chuck Taylor is another last time winner , taking advantage of a declining mark to win at Kempton . and only 3 pounds higher . He was only a length ahead of Coral Reef, who did very well getting so close from the worst of the draw and off the same mark , this lightly raced sort gets the nod , In an open race both the consistent Evolicatt and Vasilisa deserve utmost respect .
