Mercian Prince 4.50 @ 9/1

Ugo Gregory 5,13 @ 4/1

No advice for Ireland today

Selected Warwick – good ground on this flat and sharp track

A competitive card , but hard finding much with the clearest of chances . Just 1 play .

3,12 The very lightly raced Unspeakable won well on just his 2nd handicap, his first on good ground and at around this trip . He beat a reliable yardstick narrowly and worth trying again with the 4 pound hit .

1/4pt  win Unspeakable @ 6/1

Selected Kempton – good ground on this flat and sharp track

2.30 Telhimlisten has certainly taken off of late winning 5 of his last 6 and clear in the other until losing his jockey at the unlucky last . He’s unpenalized for an easy win in a match but against a useful yardstick and surprisingly has joined a different stable. This looks a sterner examination and happy to play along with the consistent prominent racing Dreaming Blue, still on a workable mark and has the ground and this kind of CV in his favour .

1/4pt win Dreaming Blue @ 7/2

3.40 A case can be made for a handful of these but no denying that Good Boy Bobby is well handicapped and comes here on the back of an improved effort at Ludlow , so today’s C&D and ground should be fine .

1/4pt win Good Boy Bobby @ 13/2

4.15  Another competitive heat but fair to expect another big run from the improved Moveit Like Minnie , and a close 3rd at Huntingdon off this mark and ground is certainly good enough form to be a factor again , especially with the longer trip likely to suit . Easy to forgive a lesser effort last time on unsuitable soft ground .

1/4pt ew Moveit Like Minnie @ 7/1

4.50 Another good competitive handicap but no getting away from one of the outsiders in the front running course specialist Mercian Prince , 5 wins from 8 tries here and just 3 pounds higher for his latest C&D victory. He returns after a 6 months break but goes well fresh . The ground is very much in his favour , likely to have the lead to himself and many rivals now on stiff marks and drying ground not in their favour .

1/2pt win Mercian Prince @ 9/1

Selected Windsor – very soft ground on this flat ,galloping and quick track

2.09 Stone Circle bounded through the mud to win on his comeback spin , and with his chief rivals likely to have too much of a battle up front , can make light of the 2 pound hit . Cautious play though in an apprentices’ handicap .

1/4pt win Stone Circle @ 3/1

5.04 Mr Zee and Albus Anne fought out the finish recently over C&D in the mud , and both should again be competitive off slightly higher marks. Preference is for the reliable mud loving late playing Chagall .

1/4pt win Chagall @ 5/1

Selected Beverley – soft ground on this stiff and galloping track

2.18 Looks a match between the juveniles who both ran well on debut , but as Scoops Andy’s run came on soft ground over C&D , could have the edge over Ponga .

1/4pt win Scoops Andy @ 15/8

5.13 Ugo Gregory has had a barren time of things of late but the handicapper has very much come to his rescue and shaped up well on his comeback spin in the Ripon mud. He is 3 from 7 here and again the ground very much in the favour of this late player .

1/2pt win Ugo Gregory @ 4/1

Selected Bath – good to soft on this undulating , sharp but stiff track

2.23 Alainn Tu was a good 2nd over C&D in the mud recently and with a nice pull in the weights could gain revenge of that day’s victrix Princess Naomi .

1/4pt  ew Alainn Tu @ 11/1

4.43 The in form Hiromichi lost little in defeat last time in the Leicester mud and can land a modest event .

1/2pt win  Hiromachi @ 15/8

5.53 As the hat-trick seeking Vitralite is a ridiculous odds on shot , Bobby Dazzler looks a nice ew play coming here on the back of a bold front running effort over C&D in the mud when just touched off by Havana Goldrush and has the weights in his favour today .

1/4pt ew  Bobby Dazzler @ 9/1
