Powerbomb to explode on to the scene in the 3.40

Today’s Multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Good Bye 3.50 @ 3/1

Dindin 2.10 @ 9/2

Powersbomb 3.40 @ 9/1

Selected Market Rasen – good ground on this mostly flat and sharp track .

1.35 The one to beat at the ratings is clearly the ex-Irish We’ll Go again , but resumes duties after 7 months off and has never raced on ground as quick as this .  Liberated Lad is only modest on the flat , but has been holding his form pretty well and his only try over hurdles came over C&D on easy ground and didn’t fire. Worth another chance in a weak event .

1/4pt win Liberated Lad @ 9/2

2.10 Penchek was a facile winner at Stratford just a few days ago, so returns to the well soon enough, carrying a hefty 7 pound penalty and his record racing right handed is 0 from 4 . Dindin has been unlucky not to celebrate a first win in Britain as he was clear at Newton Abbot when falling at the last ! and backed that up with a neck defeat . He’s been bunged up a cruel 3 pounds , but efforts could be rewarded today .

1/4ptwin Dindin @ 4/1

3.50 Good Bye is very hard to knock , and comes here on the bac of three seconds , and stays on the same mark . He has run well here before and the drop in  trip is no issue and preferred over the penalised Ince , 4 pounds higher for seeing her race out very well at Worcester last time .

1/2pt win Good Bye @ 3/1

Selected  Chester – good to soft on this flat and sharp track . On today’s ground , the usual low numbers in the draw advantage is not so pronounced .

1.50 The fav is the clear form horse , the front running Kiss N Cuddle , a close 2nd off this mark last time and no issues with trip or ground but is drawn on the wide outside , and with other front runners in the field , would do well to justify favouritism , but hard to make a case for anything else .

No Bet

2.20 The ground is the issue and 4 of these are closely matched .

No Bet

2.55 The fav is the downgraded , well drawn and mud loving Ebro River , and is the one to beat at the ratings and despite this being much easier than recent assignments , hasn’t really be running that well . The ultra reliable and very tough Princess Shabnam has a decent chance at the ratings and is proven over C&D and the ground . Could surprise .

1/2pt win Princess Shabnam @ 6/1

4.00 Hard to rule any of the 5 out .

No Bet

4.30 Quite a few bring high hopes to the table but the nod goes to the well drawn front running  and consistent Emiyn , who is securing an early lead, could take some catching .

1/4pt win Emiyn @ 9/2

Selected Galway – very soft ground on this undulating and stiff track, sharp in parts .

2.30 Youngster Perceval Legallos showed that staying is very much his game when disputing at Wexford last time and had chunks left for the run to the line. That run puts him on a workable mark and deep ground in his favour .

1/2pt  win Perceval Legallos @ 10/3

3.05 This should be very straight forward for the useful Battleoverdoyen , an excellent 5th in the Galway Chase just a few days ago and fine at the trip and ground .

1/2pt  win Battleoverdoyen @ 6/4

3.40 Worth a try on veteran Powersbomb back over fences at one of his favourite haunts and the ground has come right for him . He was 2nd in this race 2 years ago and his last appearance over fences was a winning one , it coming in a good contest off this mark and ground . He’s been kept busy over hurdles and has been running pretty well .

1/2pt ew Powerstown @ 12/1

4.10 Current Option has won this race for the last two years and showed he was on the way back with a good 4th here a few days back , just finding the mile a touch too far. He’s 8 pounds lower than last year’s win , so hard to ignore .

1/2pt win Current option @ 4/1
