Selected Hamilton – good to soft on this undulating , stiff and galloping track
1.30 Both Colnago and Installation ran to a very decent level on their debut runs , but disappointed on their second tries , and now both try a stiff track and softer ground , and the first time visor for Installation is a huge negative for the top stable of Richard Fahey . Queenie Rooney followed up a decent debut at Newcastle with a similar performance over C&D on easy ground , going down narrowly , and is preferred with the favs both having a bit to prove .
1/2pt win Queenie Rooney @ 11/2

4.30 Al La Francaise responded very well to the big step up in trip with a close 3rd a Southwell , in a highly competitive heat . Previously she was a good 4th here on soft ground over a shorter trip , running on strongly. Has a lot less to prove than most .
1/2pt win A La Francaise @ 5/2
No Hamilton placepot
Selected Plumpton – good ground on this gently undulating and sharp track
2.20 Most of these are not renowned for consistency and also this trip could be a problem , again for more than most . Right Destination has hit the frame 3 times in 4 tries this year and was a running on 3rd last time in quite a decent contest . Being an ex pointer he shouldn’t have an issue with this longer trip, but has tried it twice before without any luck. Worth a dabble .
1/4pt win Right Destination @ 13/2
2.50 Borntobealeader comes here on the back of a win on the flat , at a middle distance ,off a decent mark of 68 . He’s joined the David Pipe stable for £21,000 and his flat rating suggests he’ll take a bit of beating . I Have A Voice was rated 77 on the flat on Ireland , but ran a stinker on the flat for his new stable recently .
1/2pt win Borntobealeader @ 7/4
3.50 The luckless Barest of Margins , 3 seconds and 2 thirds In just 7 tries , has run well in all 3 chases , and against beatable rivals, could be his day .
1/2pt win Barest Of Margins @ 7/4

Selected Listowel – good ground on this flat and sharp track
2.10 The Insider was rated just a very modest 48 on the flat, but has become a very different horse since sticking a few hurdles in the way , winning both races and ran to a really good level last time. The double penalty won’t be easy to shake off and has to give 10 pounds to the 83 rated flat horse Common Practise , who’s in good form on the level and his trainer has a terrific record here .
1/2pt win Common Practice @ 6/4
3.10 A massive field for this mares’ handicap hurdle and plenty of these open to improvement , no more so than recent Fairyhouse winner Frontline Worker, who beat 19 others to land a novice hurdle , running to a level in line with her mark and suggesting the longer trip would suit . Runs for the top stable of Henry de Bromhead . and would be a winner in honour of the tragic loss of his son in a riding accident .
1/4pt ew Frontline Worker @ 16/1
3.40 This looks very much a match , but as Run For Pat has vital experience over hurdles and stays this 3 mile trip, gets the nod over successful bumper What Path, trained by Willie Mullins .
1/4pt win Run For Pat @ 11/4
4.40 The Kerry Chase and the two stand out performers are 4 times Grade 1 winner Kemboy and the very useful and prolific Easy Game . On official ratings Kemboy has a 12 pound advantage , but this trip is plenty short for him and has won just once in 3 and a half years . Easy Game is a cracking racehorse who runs his race whatever is chucked at him and in 3 tries here has 2 wins and a place .
1/2pt win Easy Game @ evens
