Maybe a lovely winner in the 4.35

Selected Nottingham – good to firm on this flat and galloping track

2.00 Not many come here with high hopes and two of the form horses in My Rosa’s Gold and By Pass, both have to prove they can convert their good Bath form to this very different speed track . Fast Danseuse came out of the clouds at Windsor at this trip to be and running on 5th  of 13 at Windsor on fast ground in a more competitive race than this and off a 2 pound lower mark , can run these down late on .

¼ pt  win Fast Danseuse @ 3/1

3.40 As Lihou continues to disappoint and I’m Mable now on too stiff a mark , this looks a straight fight between the in form and capable pair of Abate and Four Adday , both proven over C&D and hard to split . Fc time

¼ pt  rev fc Four Adday – Abate

4.10 The consistent Blistering Barney deserves a win after two solid efforts of late but preference is for the lightly raced Lednikov , who showed much improved form when put up to middle distance for the first time , landing a Musselburgh handicap , in determined fashion . Just a pound higher , and the way he saw out his race , you’d expect him to relish this longer trip .

½ pt  win Lednikov @ 3/1

Selected Curragh – probably good ground on this undulating , galloping and stiff track

2.10 The front running Elanora , comes here on the back of two big runs this season and is likely to scorch a trial , endeavouring to go all the way . She’s now a little high in the ratings , but will run her usual gallant race and will need to be caught in a race of little early pace .

¼ pt   ew Elanora @ 6/1

2.40 The very valuable Curragh Gold Cup, worth  236,000 Euros and it looks a 3 horse fight between the prolific 4 timer chasing State of Rest , whose last 3 wins have been in Group 1s , in 3 different continents ! and of course has clear claims today . Lord North is rated the same as State of Rest , 120 , but hasn’t had much racing in the last few years and after a well beaten 2nd behind Alenquer on the Lingfield polytrack, he dead heated at his beloved Meydan, but it’s always a worry when horses are infrequently raced , suggesting they have become fragile . Alenquer is massively consistent , should relish this stiff C&d and his form is generally superior to his main rivals and this prominent racer is preferred .

¼ pt  win Alonquer @ 7/2

4.20 A wide open good quality sprint handicap and a chance can be made for all but I’m with a few longshots , both course winners , both showing good form of late and both on workable marks , and both prominent racers , and both drawn together in 1 and 2 , could they pinch a few lengths !

¼ pt ew each Pretty Boy Floyd @ 40/1  Big Goosie @ 20/1 – why not a small revv fc

Selected Fakenham – good ground on this flat and sharp track

1.50 Cloudy Wednesday did nothing wrong last time out, it coming over C&D when trying to make all, and only reeled in by the fav , a Dan Skelton horse and nothing of that calibre today . Off the same mark will take some catching . Olympic Honour has stamina doubts .

½ pt  win Cloudy Wednesday @ 10/3

2.20 A very weak handicap chase and the clear form horse in Ar west , looks to have an easy task .

½ pt  win Ar West @ 6/4

3.20 The drop in trip is not ideal for the bold front running Goodnight Charlie , but he’s bang In form , likes it here and has to be caught .

¼ pt win Goodnight Charlie @ 15/2

3,52 Not a deep race and I’m with Fine With Her , not far away of late and this longer trip could be the answer . The last time Milanese Rose ran on a tight left handed track, just couldn’t get competitive .

¼ pt  win Fine With Her @ 6/1

4.25 No lack of pace as the bang in form , but now on a stiff mark Ballinsker and the once useful Ornua are sure to bomb off , but the battle for the lead likely to leave them vulnerable late on . Percussion comes here on a hat-trick , but is now 8 pounds higher , but still respected . A strongly run race at this trip is ideal for recent Newton Abbot winner Ad Roc, just 2 pounds higher , and taken to see this out the best .

½ pt  win As Roc @ 5/1

4.55 Course specialist Glimpse of Gold is 4 pounds higher for another recent all the way win over C&D but is still preferred to odds on fav Oslo ,who is not on a generous mark and has only been racing left handed .

½ ptwin Glimpse Of Gold @ 7/4

Selected York – good ground on this flat and galloping track

4.35 Plenty of in form 3yo sprinters , but plenty now looking to be on stiff enough marks . Maybe Even Never , won his first two races last year , always a very good sign but ended the season , struggling in the mud here , and a line can be put through that effort as he’s back on more suitable ground today . He comes here on the back of an excellent comeback spin, it coming here , dropping in trip to the minimum , and also was badly drawn , but still came 2nd . He’s on a good mark and I like his draw  In the middle with early pace all across the track and he he sees this trip out very well .

½ pt   ew  Maybe even Never @ 10/1

6.05 Plenty of candidates for this with so many prolific types, pride of place having to go to the admirable Super Superjack , 5 wins , 3 seconds and a 4th in his last 9 ! and only 4 pounds higher than his last win , but this race is unlikely to pan out as well as his last one when a sole front runner stretched the field , fell into an enormous hole late on , and he was closest to pick up the pieces . Emaraty Hero holds his form well and arguably his best run ever came at this trip . Just a dabble .

¼ pt  win Emaraaty Hero @ 11/2
