Never any harm to Recite A Prayer

Glamorous Breeze 5.10 Windsor

You can set your watch by this willing and consistent filly , but just the 1 win to show so far, which is often the case with consistent types as the handicapper wont slacken the burden , but plenty of hope in doubling her tally tonight . Last year , she had just the 1 win , but 6 seconds , a 3rd and a 5th from 9 starts ! and after an unplaced effort on her comeback spin in a Bath Listed event on soft ground when she had no chance at  the ratings , normal service was resumed with an unlucky close 3rd , again at Bath , just beaten a length and is only a pound higher . She likes to bide her time and William Cox knows her very well and she is favoured by the stack of early pace in the contest . The back to form The Defiant is sure to bomb off , and is nicely drawn , and just a pound higher for a good 2nd over C&D last time , but that looked a weak heat , and so it was proved as the winner trailed in last next time , and he wont have an easy time up front with the flying Pablo Del Pueblo in contention  , who’s drawn high , and drops in trip, but is a real speedball and only knows one way of running , but unlikely to have the pace to land this . I like the tip’s wide draw as she’ll be out of trouble as the rails runners falter and a lovely ew play .

Shobiz 6.40 Windsor

Another sprint full of early pace which wont help those up front , including the short priced fav , the back to form Indian Creek , but is in the favour of the strong staying tip, who comes here on the back of a last gap success at Goodwood , and off just a 2 pound higher mark , hard not seeing him feature tonight. In 4 turf runs he has 2 wins and 2 places and expect a prominent ride , and as he stays further , I expect him to stay the best for a 3rd win in 4 . Charlie Hills is 2 from 2 with older horses in handicaps this season here .

1pt win Shobiz @ 11/2

Recite A Prayer 7.30 Killarney

The Killarney National and both Fox Watch and Presenting Point come here o hat-tricks , but both now on stiff marks and the latter has obvious stamina doubt. The tip runs for the maestro Willie Mullins and comes here in very good form , a 2nd in a good novice chase contest , win  at Wexford over shorter and a narrow defeat by the bang in form Donkey Years . This prominent racer is very likely to get the slightly longer trip and can make light of a 3 pound hit in what looks a very winnable hit .

Lord P 7.50 Leicester

He’s one of the few flat horses trained by tip jumps trainer Fergal O’Brien, and just doesn’t know how to run a  bad race . He was a shock winner at Carlisle , obviously benefitting from a wind op and then showed course versatility , with a facile success at Thirsk and has little in defeat the last twice racing off his new mark. He’s a late player and goes well fresh and this is not the competitive of heats .The fav is Pure Dreamer , who returned from an 18 months absence to win well on the Lingfield polytrack , but 2nd time back is often a step backwards for long time absentees. There’s not a great deal of early pace in the contest , but when successful at Thirsk raced within earshot of the pace and the stiff finish will also help .
