Pemberley 3.00 @ 10/3
Your Own Story 1.45 @ 3/1
Selected Lingfield- all weather – polytrack
1.53 Hit Mac has yet to ring that Victory Bell , but has been 2nd 4 times in just 7tries and today the door surely must open . He’s tactically versatile but from an unlucky wide draw and with plenty of pace In the race , it’s likely Tom Marquand will sit within range and then use his stamina to nail the spoils . He was only beaten a short head last time, the run coming off this mark and has a 6 pound pull with the reliable Man On A Mission for a narrow defeat over C&D not long ago .
3/4pt win Hit Mac @ 7/4
Selected Plumpton – heavy ground on this gently undulating and sharp track
1.00PREMIUM RACE
3.00 A very winnable Sussex Grand National and a confident vote for last year’s 2nd on similar ground in Pemberley , and he races off a 2 pound lower mark today . He backed that up with an unlucky effort in a heavy ground Lingfield Marathon when taking a late fall . He warmed up for this with a respectable 2nd again at Lingfield and great chance of going one better .
3/4pt win Pemberley @ 10/3
3.30 It’s very hard to knock the consistent and prolific Pilsdon Pen , who after another lengthy break , won very well at Exeter and the 4 pound hit keeps him competitive . Saligo Bay is a clear danger but the deep ground will bring the tip’s stamina into play .
1/4pt win Pilsdon Pen @ 5/2

Selected Ayr – very soft ground on this flat and galloping track
1.45 The trip is the issue for the hat-trick seeking Irish raider Gold Cup Bailly , while Omar Maretti returns after another lengthy break after having flopped when last seen . Your Own Story did well to be 4th in a far better race at Haydock last time and good chance of controlling this from the front . Stays well, on a workable mark and handles the ground .
1/2pt win Your Own Story @ 3/1
2.15 PREMIUM RACE
2.45 Looks a match and as Storm Nelson is very much better off at the weights for his 2nd to the admirable Wakool in this last year , gets the vote coming here in fine form and still on a feasible mark .
1/2pt win Storm Nelson @ 2/1

Selected Newcastle – all weather – tapeta
2,38 The admirable ex- Irish has hardly put a hoof wrong since joining Seb spencer’s small yard and after a pipe opener has put together a terrific series of 5 wins and 2 seconds , and comes here on a 4 timer , and if anything , the wins are getting easier ! He’s up 9 pounds but racing over a C&D over which he’s 2from 2 . Stiff task on paper with both Skye Breeze and Isle of Wolves in form rivals , but another win for Victory March wouldn’t surprise . With no value in the market , happy to watch .
No bet
3.08 Parallel world bounced back to form , with no warning with a determined win over C&D , and still very well handicapped on old form. He’ll be front rank, and so will three others which could well set this up nicely for the consistent C&D winner Anif .
1/4pt win Anif @ 4/1
3.38 Abbey’s Dream comes here on the back of three consecutive good 2nds . She is proven on the surface and trip and should be fine on this stiffer circuit .
1/2pt win Abbey’s Dream @ 5/4
4.10 A good quality Class 2 handicap and an easy race to read with C&d winners Lord of The lodge and Laredo sure to bomb off and expect prominent rides from the short priced fav Noisy Night , Zip and Raising sand . Noisy Night makes a fairly quick reappearance , considering he was off the track for 14 months , and could easily be a bouncer , so happy to look elsewhere . Lord Of The Lodge is a proven classy handicapper who has dropped to a good mark and comes here in top form after a close 3rd in a competitive Class 2 , which emphasises his good mark today . In an ideal world he’s be able to dominate from flagfall , but with doubts about that , just a small play as he’s so hard to ignore .
1/4pt win Lord Of The Lodge @ 5/1
4.40 Another race with plenty of early pace with the unexposed Sir Robin , who comes here on a hat-trick after two good turf wins , but a bit to prove returning from a 6 months break and never having raced on synthetics, but firmly remains in the category of “ could be anything “ Musicka will also be
front rank and while now a few pounds too high , again won’t be far away . The ex_Irish Blind Beggar won smoothly on his first run for Mike Appleby , and the 2nd horse went on to win his next two . However with so much early pace around , this could be set up nicely for the consistent C&D regular Bellagio Boy , who is creeping up the weights , but won’t be far away again .
1/4pt win Bellagio Boy @ 11/2
5.10 Tantastic has run some good races over C&D of late , and in better races than this . He probably needed his latest run and has solid ew claims in what looks a winnable heat .
