” Kat” a ” Purr”fect play in the 2.15

Today’s Multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Princess Katrine 2.15 @ 6/4

Majestic 3.45 @ 7/2

Soul Sister 4.30 @ 3/1

Selected Carlisle – good to firm on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

1.10 Bulls Eye has gone close a number of times of late and this should be his day as he’s far better suited to the quick ground than the likely dangers in Willing To Please and Dandy’s Angel and in a race for apprentices , will be very well handled by Mark Winn .

1/2pt  win Bulls Aye @ 9/4

2.15 Princess Karine ran a blinder over C&D last time on  quick ground , front rank throughout and only failing by a short head . Off the same mark , in a lesser race , compensation awaits.

3/4pt  win Princess Karine @ 6/4

4.45 La Feile took advantage of a drop in the ratings with a cracking effort at Catterick last time when a close 2nd in a far better race than this , and the switch to a stiffer circuit , no issue .

1/2pt win La Feile @ 15/8

Selected Chepstow – – good to firm on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

1.20 Looks very much a match between the luckless pair of Racing Demon and Ticket To Alaska , but as the former has form on similar stiff tracks, gets the verdict .

1/2pt win Racing Demon @ 7/4

1.50 Chelsea Square put in a big run on his recent debut at Newbury , form which gives him a clear chance .

1/2pt  ew Chelsea Square @ 9/4

2.25 Not a competitive sprint and the nod goes to the lightly raced Jacquelina , a close 2nd at Bath last time in her first handicapped and gets the nod over C&D specialist rhubarb .

1/4pt win Jacquelina @ 3/1

3.00 Another uncompetitive sprint and recent C&D winner Connie’s Rose just gets the nod over another course specialist Some Nightmare , who’s now looking a bit high in the ratings .

1/4pt  win Connie’s Rose @ 3/1

4.15 Hard seeing the clear form horse In Vaguely Royal being troubled with the trip and ground in his favour .

3/4pt win Vaguely Royal @ 4/5

Selected Epsom – good to firm on this undulating , sharp and tricky track

3.45 A strong gallop is assured with the admirably tough front running Bad Company sure to take them along , but doubtful he’ll stay there as he’s now on a stiff mark and prefers softer ground . Marhaba The Champ hasn’t had a great deal of racing and comes here on the bThack of a fine win at York , and only 2 pounds higher , but the stable does reach for a first time tongue tie , something they’ve never used before . Preference is for last season’s Cambridgeshire hero Majestic , who was only a length behind in that York race , after blowing the start , and has a 2 pound pull .

1/2pt win Majestic @ 7/2

4.30 The Oaks , and it’s looking like a 3 horse war with the hat-trick seeking Savethelastdanceforme , bidding to become Aiden O’Brien’s 7th winner of this classic . She was awesome in her prep race in the Cheshire Oaks , winning by over 20 lengths ! but all 3 of her runs have come on soft ground , so a bit to prove today . The Gosdens have two good shots at this in the prolific Running Lion , impressive when winning a soft ground Newmarket Listed race . It’s not surprising that Frankie Dettori has chosen the other Gosden runner in the very impressive York winner Soul Sister , with nothing to prove on the ground and the level of form matches the O’Brien filly .

1/2pt win Soul Sister @ 3/1

Selected Donny – good to firm on this flat and galloping track

5.05 Olivia’s Sister made all to win at Haydock last season , off this mark and going . She’s only lightly raced and I gave her a much better chance than her odds suggested in her comeback spin , but after trying to make all , she weakened badly late on . With thar run under her belt , expect her to last longer tonight and in fairness , that Haydock race was a pretty hot affair . The consistent American Belle finally had her day in the Sun with a win at Chelmsford City , despite again looking a difficult ride . She’s as effective on quick turf and is on a fair mark .

1/4pt  ew Olivia’s Sister @ 12/1

6.15 The return to fast ground should herald a return to form for Grey Fox , who remains a little high in the ratings , but many of his opponents also have negatives .

1/4pt  ew Grey Fox @ 18/1

6.45 The bold front runner Wor Willie won 3 of his 6 races last season , one coming first time out and ended the season with a close 3rd off this mark . Could do with a shade further to travel , but still a solid contender .

1/4pt win Wor Willie @ 11/2

7.45 Plenty of these are just running poorly while the form horse , Ventura Express would do very well to double up under a penalty and an extra furlong to travel .Mark’s Choice shaped better last time on unsuitable soft ground at his beloved Ripon , but remains on a good mark and looks a very lively longshot in a winnable heat .

1/2pt  ew Mark’s Choice @ 20/1

8.15 Sir Mark Prescott has his team in very fine form , especially his speciality of producing lightly raced juveniles to be ready to run at more appropriate trips and usually off workable , lowly marks . He runs Bravura , but only one of his 3 runs was any use and they were all on synthetics . Bulldog Spirit is preferred as he comes here on the back of a bold effort to make all at around this trip at Windsor on quick ground . He certainly wasn’t stopping , showed a good attitude and stays on the same mark .

1/2pt win  Bulldog Spirit @ 3/1

8.50 It’s not a deep finale and despite Lexington Knight finding his present mark tough to crack , he is rarely far away and he also tried to lead  all the way at Windsor last time , and was narrowly touched off . He stuck on well and stays on the same mark .

1/2pt win Lexington Knight @ 3/1

A cracking meeting at Stratford for fans of Hunter Chasers , but with good bets thin on the ground , well happy just to watch

Selected Catterick – good to firm on this undulating and sharp track

5.55 The C&d regular Golden Gal has a lot going for her . She comes here on the back of a narrow defeat over C&D on quick ground and off this mark , and opposition modest , at best . Only concern is that she wears cheekpieces for the first time , an aid the stable has no success with .

1/2pt win Golden Gal @ 6/4

7.25 Runninwild is a tough front runner , who will fully appreciate the drop into Class 4. He was narrowly beaten off this mark at the end of last season and finds himself in a very winnable heat .

1/4pt win Runninwild @4/1
