In my View , she can win the 4.33

Today’s multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Dawn View 4.33 @ 9/2

Ardla 4.50 @ 5/1

Fury Road 6.35 @ 5/1

Selected Yarmouth – good to firm on this flat and galloping track, speed track

2.40 It’s hard to get excited about the prospects of many with plenty coming here under a cloud or more potent on the all weather . Thaki has done really well since joining Chris Dwyer as previously he was easy to take on with frequent placed efforts but no success, but has recently notched his 4th win , in just 5 tries , but is now on a very stiff mark ,but showed at Chelmsford City , when beaten just a few lengths, isn’t far away and as he’s been placed twice in 3 runs here , worth  s dabble in a winnable heat . The clear form horse is Special Mission , whose hat-trick bid was thwarted last time , but ran well to be a close 4th , but how will he cope dropping in trip on quick turf .

¼ p t  ew Thaki @ 9/1

4.23 A similar race in terms that few are of interest . Epic Express ended his season with a win and two good placed efforts, all at Kempton and also on his CV has a good 4th over C&D on quick turf , but off a 4 pound lower mark than today . He’s a late player and there is encouragement of a good pace to sit off  . The tip could be better handicapped , but could get away with it in this modest finale .

¼ pt   ew  Epic Express @7/1

Selected Brighton – good to firm on this sharp , undulating and tricky track

2.20 The longer trip is the concern for both Batchelor Boy and the in form Mabarhin , who also switches from the all weather , while 3 time C&D winner Porterinthejungle would need to show more until supporting again , coming here on the back of poor runs on the all weather . Both Kondatav Wave 3 time course winner Kendergarten Kop have clear claims as does Otago , but this late player would need a strong pace to be effective . The nod goes to the well handicapped late playing Verreaux Eagle  , who was massively unlucky over C&D last season , which does happen a lot here , but is down to a good mark and fast turf no issue .

¼ pt  win Verreaux Eagle  @ 5/1

4.33 The front running Dawn View is very much a regular here and remains on a workable mark . She came to hand early last season and both career wins have come here on fast ground . This is very winnable and I like the booking of the excellent Sean Levey . Could be away and gone.

½ pt  win Dawn View @ 9/2

Selected Nottingham good to firm on this flat and galloping track, speed track

3.30 Khatwah certainly came of age last season, landing an all weather hat-trick , so understandably was of little interest on her recent comeback spin , on fast turf and over a longer trip and after giving the field  a head start , she came impressively off the pace to win by a long looking 4 lengths , and th 5 pound hit unlikely to stop her in this winnable heat .

4.05 On official ratings Technique is the one to beat , but her only win last season came first time out and despite running some good races in defeat , also ran some poor ones. Noon star quickly made a name for herself last year and despite not being seen since finding the 12 furlongs of The Ribblesdale too far at Royal Ascot , she’s back to her best trip and this kind of C&D and ground both help .

½ pt  double Khatwah @ 13/8  Noon  Star 4.05 @ 10/11

Selected Punchestown – good to soft on this undulating and galloping track

4.15 The front running Dysart Dynamo took an unbeaten record to The Cheltenham Festival and was still going strongly , despite unwelcome company up front , when taking a late fall. On official ratings he has a bit to find with the prolific and so classy Sir Gerhard , who toyed with the opposition when winning with ease at Cheltenham , but last season he suffered his only defeat in 7 starts at this meeting , which is notorious for exposing any chinks of runners who competed at Cheltenham , Aintree or both , and History could repeat itself

½ pt  win Dysart Dynamo @ 7/4

4.50 It’s understandable that the bold front running Ardla is prominent in the market as he’s on a very workable mark in his handicap debut and looks as if he’s been kept for this as he returns from a 3 months break and goes well fresh . Not much competition up front and could be a massive blot on the handicap .

½ pt  win Ardla @ 5/1

5.25 Similar to the 4.15 , Willie Mullins saddles the first two favs in the mightily prolific Energumene , whose only defeat over fences was a narrow one to Shishkin , who was the odds on  fav for The Queen Mother Champion 2 mile Chase at Cheltenham , but was pulled up with an injury . Energumene made no mistake coming home with ease and his task was made easier when the very capable , but at times disappointing Chacon Pour soi fell halfway around . Energumene won the novice event at this meeting last year after having a similar break to today and will be hard to beat .

¾ pt win  Energumene @ 8/11

6.00 Not much to go on but newcomer Caldwell  Potter runs for Gordon Elliott and this well related youngster cost £200,000 for high profile connections and Jamie Codd rides.

6.35 The prolific Bob Olinger was the luckiest winner at Cheltenham Festival 2022 as Galopin Des Champs was way , way clear until taking a most unlucky last fence fall , leaving Bob Olinger to struggle up the hill for a clear but exhausting looking win . He goes up in trip today and may well not have recovered sufficiently to do himself justice. Capodano finshed 4th at Cheltenham at this trip and also had a hard race . fury Road skipped Cheltenham and ran a mighty race at Aintree chasing home the classy Ahoy senor and can go one better today . The English raider is Millers Bank , who for once got his jumping perfect and destroyed a good field. He still has a bit to find at the ratings but this longer trip could compensate .

1/2 pt   win Fury Road @ 5/1

7.10 Very little to go on as all of these mostly young Hunter Chasers face a cross country course for the first time and when in doubt stick with the King of this discipline in Enda Bolger , who’s won this race 7 times in the last 12 years ! and De Nordener runs for JP Mcmanus and comes here on a hat-trick of Point wins

7.45 Again very little to go on but the same connections of Caldwell  Potter had to dig deep, £220,000 to secure the very well related Firm Footings and has to  be worth a dabble .

¼ pt Trixie -Caldwell  Potter 6.00 @7/2 De Nordener, 7.10 @9/4  Firm Footings7.45 @ 4/1

Selected Ayr –  good to firm on this flat and galloping track, speed track

5.10 A very weak opener and as Elixsoft won over C&d last year on fast turf off a 6 pound higher mark , and last time was a step forward on the score of form , should relish this drop in grade .

½ pt  win Elixsoft @ 5/2

5.40 Another weak event and the usually reliable Cosmic Raj was bitterly disappointing on his recent comeback spin , so can only watch this fav today . Rains of Castamere is being given every assistance by the handicapper and has been running better than his form figures suggest , IF obtainling an early lead , could be away and gone .

¼ pt win Rains of Castamere @ 9/4

6.15 Shallow Hal is the clear form horse , 3 seconds in  his last 5 races , all at this trip , but fast turf the concern . Chances can be given to all of Iris Dancer , rarely far away but hard to win with , Ventura Flame, another consistent type and Shalaa Asker but the nod goes to the admirably consistent C&D specialist Pearl Of Qatar , who won this race last year but did have the benefit of some good runs on the all weather leading up to this and today returns after a 7 months break . He was 10pounds lower when winning this last year but went on to win off a 2 pound higher mark, that win coming over C&D on fast turf , worth  chancing fitness .

¼ pt win Pearl Of Qatar @ 7/1

6.50 Clansman was a shock 50/1 winner when getting the better of the admirably consistent Al Qassim 3 wins and 3 places In his last 6 races. That race came at Nottingham in the mud and as the tip is only 2 pounds higher for a win at Ponty on easy ground , does handle quicker ground and gets the nod in an uncompetitive heat .

½ pt  win Al Qassim @ 5/2

8.30 The drying ground isn’t much help to either of the form horses in Chookie Dunedin and Taskheer but the front running Merricourt is a dual course winner on quick turf, he’s down to just a pound above his last winning mark and ran a cracker last time in the Musselburgh mud when trying to go all the way but just tied up in the final furlong . Shorter trip and better ground in his favour .

½ pt  win Merricourt @ 7/1
