Credo was massively impressive when winning at Chepstow , and the assessor agreed , handing out a 13 pound penalty , Flowing Cadenza was 20 lengths behind Credo but the big weight pull and softer ground makes a reversal possible.

1.00Grey D’Alco ran a decent enough race over C&D a few starts back to be considered in this ordinary looking novice hurdle . He appeared to take a step backwards next time at Chepstow , but a return to this C&D and deep ground can see him in the mix .

12.53 A number with a chance but nothing wrong with the chance of recent Fontwell winner which came at this trip, ground and off just a pound lower.

1.23 This has a winnable look to it with the trip likely to be too far for Trixster and this C&D likely to be too sharp for the well handicapped Some Detail, but he’s not shaping up like a winner about to happen . The ultra consistent Flying Verse comes here on a hat-trick and just a pound higher than last time when gamely landing a Musselburgh Marathon . He front runs and if managing to take these along , could take some catching as he stays forever .

3.53 Plenty of in form types in this staying hurdle but you can rarely go far wrong being with Pottlerath , never out of the first 5 in his last 14 races and in that time has managed three wins . He comes here on the back of two seconds , but as usual nudged up the ratings another few pounds, but with an able amateur in the saddle claiming 7 pounds. It makes him more competitively weighted .

4.15 In a recent race over C&d , with the same size field, there was little at the line between No Speed Limit , Hero Of The Hour and Silver Nemo and as the latter is much longer odds than the other two, has to be the ew play .
