He IS a good play in the 2.07

There are good cards at both of the Irish meetings at Naas and Limerick, but can’t find anything at decent odds to recommend and also there are a stack of solid short priced favs who look likely to collect but on heavy ground , easy to let them pass .

Selected Exeter – good to soft  on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

2.07 Decent chances can be given to all of the in form trio of Kepagge , Issam and Pilsdon Pen , but not keen on the chance of the fav , Pedley Wood, who drops in trip and has struggled on soft ground in the past . The nod goes to Issam , successful three times in France and a good effort here last time behind one way ahead of the game , and both this longer trip and softer ground will help .

1/2pt win Issam @ 5/2

3.17 Very hard to knock the luckless River Tyne , coming here on the back of three successive seconds , and as it’s often the case , the cruel handicapper has stuck him up 3 pounds . There is nothing wrong with his attitude and went down all guns blazing at Plumpton on soft ground , behind a winner hard to find , but that one has gone on to double up under a penalty , so nothing wrong with the form . All tracks come alike for the tip and finds himself in a very winnable heat .

1/2pt win River Tyne @ 10/3

3.52 Quite an open stayers chase but nothing wrong with the chance of one of the longshots in Gwencily Berbas who significantly is 2 from 2 over C&D , has the ground in his favour , and remains on a workable mark .
