Kats to land the 1.05 on the Bob

Today’s Multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Kats Bob 1.05 @ 9/2

Refuge 2.13 @ 9/2

Baliyad 1.43 @ 8/1

Selected Hamilton – good to soft on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

1.05 Not a deep handicap for amateur riders  and really only four to concentrate upon, but despite running well last time , Captain Vello , has a rotten win record, Kilconquhar is 5 pounds higher for a surprise win at Redcar on quick ground and a longer trip , but Slainte Mhath has to be considered , just 3 pounds higher than her recent win over C&D , but is 0 from 4 in this grade . The worst Kats Bob has ever done at this track is a 4th in 7 tries , and is twice a C&D winner . Consistency is his own worse enemy , as the handicapper keeps him on  a stiff , yet not impossible mark and has the best jockey in the race , Simon Walker , who’s Southern based and has made quite an effort to get here .

1/2pt win Kats Bob @ 9/2

2.13 The prolific Refuge holds his form very well and comes here on the back of a magnificent effort at Ayr , when 2nd of 21 , beaten just half a length . He returns to a track over which he is 3 from 4 and soft ground no issue . There are a few others here with a chance , but likely to dispute with the consistent but now too high in the ratings Shesadabber , and stay on the best .

1/2pt  win Refuge @ 9/2

2.48 PREMIUM RACE

3.23  A chance can  be given to plenty of these , but the admirably consistent Innse Gall doesn’t know how to run a bad race . Holds his form well despite nudges up the ratings and will be fine over C&D and the ground .

1/4pt  ew  Innse Gall @ 11/1

3.58  This has a winnable look to it and after a purple patch , Temper trap found himself on a stiff looking mark , and has underachieved the last twice , but didn’t have conditions to suit , but he’s won here 4 times and relishes soft ground .

1/4pt  ew  Temper Trap @ 8/1

4.33 the prominent racing Shahnaz , holds his form very well and comes here on the back of a fine 2nd at Ponty , in a better race, racing from the worst of the draw , and is 2 from 2 here .

1/2pt  win Shahnaz @ 2/1

Selected Ffos Las – good to soft on this flat and galloping track

2.35 PREMIUM RACE

4.20 After a purple patch , Dora Penny is now on a very stiff mark , as is Liangel hope, who would prefer a longer trip while Treacherous has become very hard to win with as he’s aged .Bibulous is rarely far away and this could be his day , with conditions to suit and on a workable mark .

1/4pt win Bibulous @ 3/1

Selected Newton Abbot – good ground on this flat and sharp track

1.43 Baliyad landed a similarly weak race at Stratford at few races back at this trip when making all , under this jockey , and only a pound higher today and is likely to have the front to himself . Hard to be strong on anything else in this .

1/2pt win Baliyad @ 8/1

Selected Newcastle – all weather – tapeta . The track is stiff and galloping

4.50 The three to concentrate upon are the market leaders: Crazy Maizie , who could be up to the 4 pound hit for a good win over C&D last time , first run since a wind-op, Hildenley , narrowly touched off over C&D last time , stays on the same mark, but it wasn’t the strongest of races and Hot team , a facile winner over C&D a few starts back then double up on turf soon afterwards . Back on the same mark today and likely to be enough early pace around to benefit this late player .

1/4pt win Hot Team @ 5/1

7.30 The unexposed Kadima Imperial was a very cosy winner at Kempton in his first handicap and certain claims up just 2 pounds and despite switching to tapeta, the stable does well here making the 550 mile round trip. Reclaim Victory is rarely far away over C&D but the nod goes to recent Wolver close 3rd Kodebreaker , who made a right fist of it from the front , and with  little early in opposition , looks a tidy ew play .

1/4pt  ew Kodebreaker @ 12/1

8.00 The front running How Bizarre hasn’t won for 2 years , but has gone close plenty of times , including last time out , that racing coming over C&D off this mark . Not much early in opposition and a deserved win could come his way . The luckless Thaayer , proven over C&D , and the unexposed Tea Garden are the chief dangers .

1/4pt win How Bizarre @ 4/1
