Hamaki to bring home the bacon in the 3.12

I can’t find anything worth recommending to be risking hard earned upon at Stratford and sidestepping the card .

Today’s multi

50p ew Trixie & 50p ew treble

End Zone 3.40 @ 16/1

Hamaki 3.12 @ 10/3

Rochebrune 4.46@ 11/2

Selected Ponty – good to soft on this undulating , galloping and vey stiff track

1.55 Braveheart Boy won well over C&D a few starts back beating Washington Heights , who continues to run big races. The tip ran pretty well off around this mark last time and the return to this track very much in his favour , but wide draw an issue and unproven on soft ground .

1/4pt win Braveheart Boy @ 4/1

3.40 This has a very winnable look to it with recent C&d winner Gainsbourg now on a very stiff mark , as too is Poet’s Dawn . It’s fair to say End Zone is a bit in and out , but acts on the track, is well drawn and on a workable mark , and some of his recent form gives him a clear chance at these juicy odds .

1/2pt  ew  End Zone @ 16/1

5.25 The well drawn front running youngster Sweet Glance is up 2 pounds for a narrow defeat in the Catterick mud last time , but could be hard to catch and has won on a stiff track.

1/4pt win  Sweet Glance @ 9/2

Selected Windsor – probably the easy side of good going on this flat and galloping track

2.02 Worth giving the consistent yet luckless Caleta Sunrise one more chance , as she comes into this 0 from 12 , but form good enough to run a big race and the short priced fav , Shades Of Summer , returns from a 6 months break and only run came on the  all weather .

1/4pt win Caleta Sunrise @ 4/1

2.37 A very open nursery but nothing wrong with the chance of Sydney Mews , a running on close 3rd at Kempton last time, it came off this mark , is proven on turf  and longer trip looks to be to his advantage .

1/4pt win Sydney Mews @ 5/1

3.13 A strongly run race is on the cards with at least 3 front runners which won’t help the very tough and bang in form Bad Company , who likes to dominate . Hamaki lost little in defeat in a red hot handicap last time off this mark and the return to this trip off  a strong gallop is very much in his favour .

1/2pt  win Hamaki @ 10/3

Selected Wolver – all weather – tapeta

4.46 The short priced fav is recent good Kempton 2nd Showman , but as he faces a slightly longer trip , up 3 pounds and new to tapeta, good idea to look elsewhere . The front running Red Bond has a terrific record here, 2 wins and 4 places in just 7 tries and in Class 6 his record is a win and 3 places in 6 tries. He was a very gutsy winner over C&D 2 starts back , but has been hit with a hefty 5 pounds penalty , and should have done better at Ayr last time , Rochebrune is rarely far away and has been staying on stylishly in her last two runs , both over a shorter trip and her only run at this trip was highly creditable , a 3 lengths 3rd at Epsom , that run coming off a 6 pound higher mark , and has a useful 7 pound claimer riding today . Mr Rumbalicious has bee running on well over shorter trips, off higher marks , and not out of this but despite being new to the surface , the tip gets the vote as the stable does pretty well here .

1/2pt  win Rochebrune @ 11/2

5.55 Pop Dancer continues to be hard to win with and has a small penalty for a bold effort last time in the Sandown mud . Kim Wexler comes here on the back of two big runs over C&D, both off this mark . He’s been unlucky in the draw, but is an early pacer and with not much early elsewhere in the field , could well obtain a handy pitch and nail a deserved win .

1/2pt win Kim Wexler @ 9/2

7.30 Manhattanville’s consistency can’t be knocked , but is finding it hard going getting his nose in front, but is entitled to be right on the premises again tonight , as he was a good 3rd over C&D last time , and this isn’t particularly deep. Clear danger is C&d winner Secret Moment , if ready to go after a 4 months break .

1/4pt win Manhattanville @ 4/1

8.30 Both Nacho and Randon Rocks tick plenty of important boxes and deservedly head the market , but veteran Steelriver , 7 times a course winner , took advantage of a much reduced mark to win over C&D last time and off just a pound higher has claims , particularly as the likely strong pace will suit this late player . He has been off the track for 7 weeks, a bit longer than usual, and the stable hasn’t been going well, so just a dabble .

1/4pt ew Steelriver @ 7/1
