Selected Ffos Las – good ground on this flat and galloping track

2.45 The unexposed Scrum Diddly certainly stepped up going handicapping for the first time and stepping up to this trip winning by an easy 15 lengths , beating an in form rival with comfort . This looks competitive but could well be still ahead of the game with the 7 pound hit.
1/2pt win Scrum Diddly @ 9/4

Selected Redcar – good ground on this flat and galloping track
3.30 An open race and decent chances can be given to all of : Strangerontheshore, Violetta and My Honey B but the nod goes to Original Thinker , who was with The Gosdens last season , and despite some OK efforts , was sold on to this much smaller stable but there was plenty to like about her recent close 5th at Newcastle and as she’s proven on the ground and gives the impression the longer trip will suit , looks a lively longshot .
1/4pt ew Original Thinker @ 14/1
4.00 Drying ground isn’t ideal for either Belsito or the very hard to win with Exceed . The lightly raced Mistamac is fine on the ground and starts handicapping on a very fair mark .
1/4pt win Mistamac @ 9/2
4.30 Dubai Dawn is 2 from 2 and despite looking well handicapped has a bit to prove as both wins came over longer trips and on tapeta. The useful sprinter Ready Freddie Go has the ground in his favour and remains on a workable mark .
1/4pt win Ready Freedie Go @ 7/1
No Redcar placepot
Selected Carlisle – good to firm on this undulating , stiff and galloping track
2.35 The back to form late playing The thin Blue Line will have an ideal strong m to chase and likes this kind of track .
1/2pt win The Thin Blue Line @ 7/2
3.10 The hat-trick seeking Papa Cocktail has a stiff 7 pound penalty , which may be manageable , but probably not today on this stiff track . The front running Westmorian has no issues with ground or track and despite looking a few pounds high in the handicap , ticks most boxes.
1/4pt win Westmorian @ 6/1
3.40 The drop in the ratings has seen a positive response from the once very useful handicapper What’s The Story and stays on the same mark for a good 2nd at Hamilton in a far deeper race than this. Expect a prominent ride .
1/2pt win What’s The Story @ 5/4
4.10 Farrhfromforgotten has run well enough in all three maidens to be a force in this winnable handicap off a fair mark , handles the ground and this C&D . Leap Year Lad could well be found out by the penalty and drying ground while the trip is the issue for the dangerously handicapped Gone.
1/4pt Farrhfromforgotten @ 9/4
5.15 Ghostly is certainly in and out but landed a Hamilton handicap last season well off a higher mark and good ground and this won’t take much winning .
1/4pt win Ghostly @ 6/1

8.35 A low grade handicap for the finale and very much more about quantity than quality withy drying ground and trip against most of those who come here in a bit of form . The exception is the prolific Princess T , Ok over hurdles ,rated 100 , which is 70 on the flat and races off just 53 , which she has raced off before , running just fair races , but recently rattled off a 4 timer in Jersey and has improved since going hurdling . Late player should be nailing this .
1/2pt win Princess T @ 5/1
No Windsor placepot
Selected Market Rasen – good ground on this mostly flat and sharp track – speed track
5.45 I’m happy to try the outsider in the field in La Pagerie , who goes up to a more suitable distance for the first time and she looked short of pace in some OK novice hurdles raced at the minimum trip She runs in famous colours for a good stable and is a half sister to the useful stayer Whisper, who was rated an extremely lofty 169 !.
1/2pt win La Pagerie @ 12/1
6.45 Ron Burgundy stepped up on previous with a good 3rd at Uttoxeter with today’s short priced fav Whataboutyeh a few lengths back in 4th . Both have to prove effectiveness on quicker ground , but in a winnable heat , the tip ticks most boxes .
1/2pt win Ron Burgundy @ 4/1
7.15 Pens Man has a close 2nd over C&D on quick ground and around this mark on his CV and has a very good record running fresh and gets the nod over Ridgeway , who is finding his current mark on the high side .
