Strong Claims in the 7.00

Today’s Multi 3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Operation Manna 3.30 @ 9/4

Exquisite Claim 7.00 @ 6/1

Je T’ai Porte 8.00 @ 4/1

Selected Catterick – soft ground on this undulating and sharp track

12.10 As both the in form and reliable pair of Sure Touch and Balkotic won’t have the ground in their favour , this should be straight forward for C&D winner Spike Jones , still on a good mark and soft ground fine .

1/2pt win Spike Jones @ evens

Selected Ascot – good to soft on this stiff and galloping track

12.20 Crambo impressed winning both his bumpers last season and can get his hurdling career off to a winning start.

1/4pt win Crambo @ 11/4

3.15 The admirably tough , useful and consistent Onemorefortheroad keeps his form very well despite now being on a stiff mark  and has clear claims today , but odds plenty short enough . Lively Citizen is closely matched with him and is a nice ew alternative.

1/4pt  ew  Lively Citizen @ 12/1

Selected Chepstow – good to soft on this undulating, galloping and quite stiff track

1.45 Credo is a worthy fav after a cracking debut over fences when just touched off at  Hereford off this mark and around this trip , but a bit tight at the odds . The consistent Astra Via comes here on the back of two very solid runs over C&D  over hurdles and the switch back to fences unlikely to be an issue .

1/4pt ew  Astra Via @ 7/1

2.55 A competitive handicap hurdle, full of in form sorts. Youngster Saint Segal did little wrong last season and ran well at The Cheltenham Festival . Both the drop in trip and the ratings will see an improved showing .

1/4pt win Saint Segal @ 3/1

3.30 Not a deep race at all and the consistent novice hurdler Operation Manna goes well fresh , proven at the trip and stiff tracks and on s good mark in his first handicap .

1/2pt win Operation Manna @ 9/4

Selected Kempton – all weather – polytrack

7.15 As many of these are now on stiff enough marks or stuck in a rut, well worth a go on the capable Aced It , a C&d winner who ran very well on his recent comeback spin , just finding the absence and longer trip telling late on . Well drawn and remains on a workable mark .

1/4pt ew  Aced It @ 14/1

7.45 The odds on fav in this Class 3 handicap is the Godolphin youngster Noble Lord , a C&D winner who goes handicapping on a very fair mark, but does return from a 10 months break . The front running Alazwar got stuck in the Haydock mud last time, but previous runs were good and remains on as competitive mark . Lovely longshot .

1/4pt ew Alazwar @ 20/1

8.15 The clear form horse is Owen Starlight , but priced accordingly and is the one to beat despite now racing on a tough enough mark. Vivency is closely matched with the fav so makes ew appeal.

1/4pt ew Vivency @ 10/1

Selected Dundalk – all weather – polytrack

6.00 Jaafel went close over C&D last time and off the same mark, a nice draw and a slight drop in grade , could be his turn .

1/4pt win Jaafel @ 7/2

6.30 Miss Abby Gold ran well in her bid to follow up a recent C&D win under a penalty, but just found the new mark a bit too testing . There was little between the consistent pair of Leabaland and Circles over C&D last time and considering the tip had an unlucky run is selected .

1/4pt win Circles @ 4/1

7.00 The stand out piece of form is the useful Exquisite Acclaim’s excellent 4th over C&D from the worst of the draw and with an able 7 pound claimer aboard and from a better draw, looks the bet of the night .

3/4pt win Exquisite Acclaim @ 6/1

8.00 The consistent Je T’Ai Porte was a close 3rd over C&D last time off around this mark and has a handy 4 pound pull with the winner , St Cianans Fire , who has a shocker of a draw.

1/2pt win T’Ai Porte @ 4/1
