Bingo – House called a winner in the 4.05

Ffos Las Trixie

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Soi Dao 2.20 @ 15/8

Vape 3.30 @ 13/2

Notre Maison 4.05 @ 11/2

Selected Ffos Las – good ground on this flat and galloping track

2.20 Looks very much a match and despite making a right meal of shedding her maiden tag , the consistent Soi Dao comes here on her usual good form . The extra furlong is no issue and preferred over Saorla , runner up the last twice , but both times on the all weather , not been out for 5 months , and drops in trip .

1/2pt win Soi Dao @ 15/8

3.30 Gilt Edge has a terrific record here , 3 wins and a place in 4 tries and has dropped 3 pounds below her last winning mark , and furthermore a competent 7 pound claimer takes the reins , and back to her best trip today , but recent runs don’t suggest she is a winner about to happen . Vape is cracking little racehorse, guaranteed to run his race from the front and keep going willingly , and has been unlucky not to have added to his Windsor win earlier in the season . He does look in the handicapper’s grip, but not by much and as he’s likely to have the lead to himself , this could be his day . The fav is the back to form hat-trick seeking Dora Penny , who was rated higher last season but a 6 pound hit in the context of this race will take some overcoming .

1/2pt  ew  Vape @ 13/2

4.05 A modest heat and few with a serious chance . It’s unlikely that recent good Leicester 2nd Ellie Piper will be as potent down in trip while the capable front running Thegreyvtrain has a very poor recent win record . Preference is for youngster Notre Maison , , whose 2nd of 14 at Windsor on quick ground at this trip in a handicap , is the best form on show .Expect a prominent ride , and sees the trip out well.

1/2pt win Notre Maison @ 11/2

Selected Salisbury – good to firm on this undulating , stiff and galloping track

1.55 The fav American In Paris is a bit in and out and best form is on tapeta . There are 3 newcomers from smart stables and Sir Michael Stoute has a runner who showed promise on debut .

No Bet

2.30 Very much a match but preference is for Time Step , a winner on debut on quick turf  and backed that up with a brave effort on polytrack , going down by a nose . He carries the dreaded penalty but is partnered by Tyler Fisher , who took 33 tries to ride a winner , and has ridden 4 in his last 6 , impressing I doing so. The fav is fraatik ,who wont be a pushover .

1/4pt win Time Step @ 15/8

3.05 Commandment is holding her form very well and has been narrowly beaten in her last two races , exhibiting a determined attitude both times . This kind of C&D and ground are her optimums .

1/4pt win Commandment @ 6/4

3.40 The handicapper has given youngster Iskaheen a chance and has the form in the book to be bang there .

1/4pt  ew  Iskaheen @ 7/1

4.15 A Valuable Group 3 and very hard to sort out . Modern News is likely to have his own way up front , but  a stiff track caught him  out last time . Berkshire Shadow is capable , but not really firing while it’s always hard ruling the useful pair of classy handicappers in Sinjaari and Tempus out .

No bet

4.45 Another good contest but another that looks in the lap of The Gods with all 3 runners bringing strong credentials to the table .

Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack

The 2nd of The Racing League cards and the good prize money , thankfully assures good sized fields , hence competitive racing

6.40 Nobody could gripe if the consistent yet luckless They Don’t Know finally broke his duck , 2nd 6 times in 10 starts , the latest being a neck short at Kempton . He’s a late player who comes home strongly and the extra yardage no issue .

1/4pt  win They Don’t Know @ 4/1

7.10 Menai Bridge has a terrific record here , 3 wins and 2 places from 6 tries , and his latest try over C&d was a short head defeat , off this mark , behind an unexposed Godolphin horse . He has since run two poor races on turf , but has bounced back from below his best before when returning to this his favourite C&D and from a good draw has strong claims in a race looking pretty much for the taking . There’s plenty of early pace on which suits his style of running , stalking a strong gallop .

1/2pt win Menai Bridge @ 4/1

7.40 There are a trio of already successful ,lightly raced and progressive runners in this and all of Purple Ribbon , Neandra and Storm Castle merit careful consideration. Purple Ribbon returns from a 10 months break  and has a poor draw , but still can’t be ruled out . Storm Castle made all at Chelmsford City last time winning his maiden, and is competitively weighted on that performance , but may not have the lead to himself tonight and also has stamina to prove. Neandara made a mockery of his opening handicap mark over C&D recently , giving them a start and a thrashing , and every chance she’ll be up to the 8 pound hit . I’m kind of sitting on the fence here being with the ultra reliable Old port , a winner of 5 of his 8 handicaps , and comes here on the back of a cosy win on turf but has won on this surface and is 2 from 2 at this trip .

1/4pt  ew  Old port @ 10/1

8.10 There will certainly be no hanging about in this stayers handicap, which won’t help the many fighting for dominance up front , but will certainly help those played late , which makes the consistent Diamond Bay of interest, who comes here on the back of a close 3rd at this trip in a red hot Kempton handicap at this trip , and this could be a deserved win .

1/4pt  win Diamond Bay @ 9/2
