Big Time Maybe 1.00 @ 9/2
Puffin Bay 6.47 @ 11/2
Enough Already 2.30 @ 3/1
Selected Brighton – good to firm on this undulating, sharp and tricky track
1.00The well drawn Big Time Maybe has been ticking over nicely on the all weather ,and this well drawn late player returns to the scene of his last 3 wins, which counts for plenty at this marmite circuit , and 3 pounds below his last winning mark . Good chance indeed .
¾ pt win Big Time Maybe @ 9/2
2.30 Enough Already didn’t look totally in love with the circuit when last here , but still got the job done and has been holding his form well since off this new lofty mark , and this wont take much winning .
½ pt win Enough Already @ 3/1

3.20 The odds on fav is the front running Yonafis , who is 2 from 2 , but returns from a 5 months absence , and may not have his own way up front and is new to the surface . If there is a shock to be had , it could come from C&d winner Tropez Power , who comes here on the back of a good run at Donny and only 2 pounds higher than his win .
¼ pt ew Tropez Power @ 9/1

No advice for Ireland today –
Selected Huntingdon – good ground on this flat and galloping track
5.47 Not a deep race and looks good for the incredibly consistent Lady Reset , but evens is plenty short enough for me with a couple who could shake her up .

6.17 The lightly raced ex pointer Mortlach brings good hurdles form to the contest and better can be expected now he goes over fences , on a vey fair mark against weak opposition .
¾ pt win Mortlach @ 10/11
6.47 The consistent Mulberry Hill resumes after an 8 months break and on a fair mark in her handicap debut , and has ground and trip in her favour and goes well fresh , so another good run likely . Preference is for another reliable mare in Puffin Bay, who as expected , put in an improved run upped to this trip last time Dorrels Pierji has plummeted in the ratings and has his first try for the top stable of Dan Skelton , but would well prefer just to watch him for now .
¼ pt win Puffin Bay @ 11/2
7.47 A very open race as the front running Flashing Glance is 2 pounds higher for in the end a cosy victory over Sirobbie , who again ran his race last time , but an easy lead not certain tonight . Del Duque has the profile of an improver but also of a fragile type , as he had over a year off before running his race both times this season , and I’ve been with him firmly in 2 runs since , only to be a late withdrawal both times, which hardly buds confidence , but I’m dabbling as he has so many other factors in his favour .
¼ pt win Del Duque @ 5/1

Selected Hexham – probably good to soft on this undulating , stiff and galloping track
5.33 Johnson’s Blue was admirably tough in the finish last time out when getting the better of Dillarchie and Atomic Angel over C&D and on tonight’s weights , you’ll be able to throw a blanket over the trio as the line approaches , but on slightly slower ground , the latter gets the nod.
¼ pt win Atomic Angel @ 10/3
6.03 Three last time winners in Cool Country , Myburg , both successful at Sedgefield , and veteran Roxyfet got back on the scoresheet with another win over C&D in the mud and just 2 pounds higher , and while that wasn’t much of a race , still respected . Myburg holds a decision over Cool Country when the ground was riding slow , off the same weight differential , so the front running Cool Country could well fall into an enormous hole late on . The consistent Follow Your Fire is a regular here and despite the ground being a bit slower than ideal, is in form and on a workable mark .
¼ pt win Follow Your Fire @ 4/1
6.33 A weak novice hurdle and recent course winner Clear White Light looks a most solid short priced fav despite the penalty with the extra yardage firmly in his favour .
½ pt win Clear White Light @ evens
7.03 A very uncompetitive handicap chase and the fav is the recent Sedgefield winner Well Cliché , who has just a 3 pound penalty but this is a very different circuit and also drops in trip . Track regular Cudgel hasn’t been at his very best of late but this late player should get the better of these , especially with Brian Hughes in the saddle .
¼ pt win Cudgel @ 9/4
8.38 Not many of these come into this with high hopes and worth forgiving the usually competitive and prolific Killane a lesser effort last time when not handling the Sedgefield circuit . Previously he was a tidy winner at Carlisle, so this C&D should suit and should get away with the ground .
¼ pt ew Killane @ 9/1
