Aye Aye Charlie 1.30 @ 13/2
Oxwich Bay 2.35 Newton Abbot @ 7/1
Girl in the Picture 8.30 @ 3/1
Selected Newton Abbot- officially the ground is good , but heavy rainfall is expected , so I’ve taken that into consideration as the ground is likely to ease . Come on weathermen , get it right for once .
1.30 Aye Aye Charlie finally got back on the scoresheet with an all the way win here at this trip over hurdles and shaped pretty well on his recent comeback spin , first time over fences . Like most of these , he wont be overjoyed with the prospect of racing on softer ground , but being an early race, the rain shouldn’t have got into it that much and he does have soft ground form , but from some way back. Expect a prominent ride in a winnable race.
½ pt win Aye Aye Charlie @ 13/2
2.05 The only runner who handles soft ground and this kind of track is the late playing and tough in the finish Global Agreement , who’s a bit high in the weights, but is the rains do come, he’ll relish a slog in the mud .
¼ pt win Global Agreement @ 5/1
2.35 Oxwich Bay has never been one for the Kids’ Dinner Money ! but comes here on the back of a good win at Chepstow , but is also a winner here and off a 4 pound higher mar, likely to be bang there again , in a very winnable heat as the fav is last time out wide margin C&D winner Scrumpy Boy , but the 13 pound hit will take some overcoming and softer ground won’t help .
¼ pt win Oxwich Bay @ 7/1

Selected Worcester – official going is good on this flat and galloping track, but another course expected to receive plenty of rain , so going could change.
1.10 Almost all of these need good ground to run their race the exception is recent C&D 2nd Samtara , who like many of these go chasing for the first time , but the stable is chase orientated , so worth a play .
½ pt win Samtara @ 4/1
4.00 The rain will scupper the chances of many of these but the useful Percy’s Word can handle the ground , runs this C&D well and remains on affair mark and racing fresh no issue .
¼ pt win Percy’s Word @ 7/2

Selected York – good ground on this flat and galloping track
1.50 PREMIUM RACE
2.25 No shortage of early pace with 5 confirmed front runners and 6 others known for pushing the pace along . The majority of the pacesetters are drawn low , while all of the prominent racers are drawn middle, so high numbers are relying on 5 time course winner Dakota Gold to keep them in the picture . It’s hard seeing this old guy making all , especially coming here on the back of a very poor comeback spin , but it could help the cause of the luckless late playing Woven , 2nd in big field handicaps 4 times in his last 6 starts and last time was a cracking 2nd at Redcar off around this mark . His long odds are due purely to him being drawn widest of all , but in two runs here he has a win and a place , David Egan an eyecatching booking and as long as the draw doesn’t totally disadvantage him, a cracking ew play .
½ pt ew Woven @ 16/1

5.30 The bang in form Symbol Of hope has won his last two starts here , but the 9 pound hit will take some overcoming . Equally Fast is proven over C&D and handicapped to win , but has a poor win record of late . The nod goes to another in form runner In Amasova, rarely far away and a good 2nd to the in form veteran The armed Man , who won under a penalty a few days ago and the trainer has won here before making the 300 mile round journey . There’s been plenty of money for the hard to win with Clashaniska on his first start for Adrian Wintle, but is far more of an all weather horse and 0 from 9 on turf .
¼ pt win Amasova @ 5/1
7.30 Not a deep handicap and a reproduction of Promotion’s recent close 3rd at Salisbury at around this trip and mark , could see him home .
¼ pt win Promotion @ 3/1
8.00 Another horse that’s been well backed tonight is the maiden Sisterandbrother , having his first star for good trainer Milton Harris and ended last season with a series of very poor efforts , but at least now is well handicapped but there are others in the field who bring plenty of substance to the race . Plansina won this last year off a higher mark and showed she was on the way back with an improved 2nd at Wolver last time , but with any rain unlikely to help , I’m with the ultra consistent Blue Hero , 2 wins , a place and a 4th in 4 tries here , the 4th came off this mark and the step back up in trip is in his favour and probably the ground .
½ pt win Blue Hero @ 11/2 ¼ pt rev fc Blue Hero – Plansina
8.30 Girl in The picture has done nothing wrong in 3 turf runs this season and was a close 2nd here last time off this mark , but is equally effective over a shorter trip and wont mind it all if the ground eases .
½ pt win Girl In The Picture @ 10/3

Selected Perth- good to soft on this flat and sharp track
5.40 Not a deep opener and the odds on fav is the Irish raider , Gordon Elliott’s Enki Flacke , who has one good run on his CV but the rest are only modest . Preference is for Hogan , a good 2nd on easy ground last time .
¼ pt win Hogan @ 11/4
6.40 Release The Kraken was a close 2nd at this trip on similar ground at Ayr and with just a small penalty for the nose defeat , should prove too good for modest opposition .
½ pt win Release The Kraken @ 2/1
7.10 Seemingly So looked to have a bit on his plate last time dropping in trip at Market Rasen, but absolutely hosed in , but the 7 pound hit wont help back up in trip and on easier ground . Morningside has looked a winner about to happen a few times and he comes here on the back of his usual good efforts , and this could finally be his night .
¼ pt win Morningside @11/2
7.40 A very open handicap with plenty of in form types but the nod goes to the rejuvenated Better Getalong who has found his form seriously of late and has impressed with his attitude. Shapes like this longer trip will suit and ground just about Ok .
¼ pt ew Better Getalong @ 9/1
8.40 Petite Rhapsody finally got it right last time , the win coming on similar ground over C&D, but this time he’s a nasty 9 pounds higher, so not hard looking elsewhere . Plenty of possibilities in this : Wolfspear, Warriors Story , Paddy The Panda , and former quite useful flat horse Cliffs of Dooneen , who exploited a lowly handicap mark last time but of more concern than the 6 pound hit is the longer trip . Rickety Gate holds his form well and this prominent racer was a good 2nd last time behind a well handicapped one. Another good run likely .
1/4 pt ew Rickety Gate @ 10/1
