Convection , too hot for these

Today’s Multi

3 £1 doubles & £1 ew treble

Convection 2.45 @ 3/1

Encashment 4.37 @ 7/2

The Bull McCabe 6.25 @ 3/1

Selected Leicester – good to soft on this stiff and galloping track

1.35 Impossible to rule any of these out but as Go Beyond is proven at the trip, mark and on easy ground as he outran odds of 33/1 at Haydock last time , which gives him less to prove than most .

¼ pt  win Go Beyond @ 6/1

2.45 Plenty was expected of Convection last season , but she looks to have her limitations, but still looks good enough to land this . She ran well at Nottingham when given a prominent ride to be a close 3rd and followed that up with a good 2nd at Newmarket , when held up and given a bit too much to do, but the well held 3rd horse has won since . The drop in grade will help and slightly slower ground not expected to be an issue .

1/2pt win Convection @ 3/1

3.20 Another race where a case can be made for many and I’m with one of the longshots in Wowzers , who ended his juvenile career with a smart win at Bath , which puts him on a good mark and the extra furlong shouldn’t be an issue . Wears famous colours for a strong stable .

¼ pt  win Wowzers @ 16/1

4.25 Looks a 3 horse war but the in form Mr Trick wont have the services of his regular jockey , the 3 pound claimer Ben Anderson , but Will Buick should be an able deputy , but does have a first ever sit on the horse , and also the first time cheekpieces is a big negative for the stable . The consistent Under Fox is just 2 pounds higher for another good run last time but preference is for the most reliable Coase , who just doesn’t know how to run a bad race and after a long and successful series on the all weather , switched to turf with a narrow win at Newmarket and off just 2 pounds higher , another big run expected .

½ pt  win Coase @ 9/2

Selected Uttoxeter – good ground on this undulating  and sharp track with a long galloping straight .

1.42 I’m A Starman came into his first ever chase last time out , on the back of a very big run over hurdles at this trip , but struggled to keep up around the tight Warwick circuit . He’ll improve for the experience and worth a dabble at long odds .

¼ p  win I’m A Starman @ 14/1

2.52 Franz Klammer took off last season when switching to fences , front running and racing at Stratford , and notched a hat-trick at that track , until finding just one too good off his present mark . Worth a try at long odds with nothing concrete here .

¼ pt  win Franz Klammer @ 14/1

3.27 Howdilyoudo was a very lucky winner last time , as everything in front of her fell , including Princess Midnight . She is a consistent and able hurdler who will come good over fences eventually , and is another I’m hoping will come on for the experience .

1/4pt  win Howdilyoudo @ 3/1

4.02 Robeam made all in convincing style at Southwell last time in is first try at 3 miles and the double not out of the question with a 7 pound penalty . Release The Kraken has some solid form at this trip and mark , but drying ground an issue while Dock Road ran well last time and if lasting the longer trip has clear claims as does Shinobi down in the ratings. The nod goes to recent close 2nd over fences at this trip Mackie Dee , who stays on this workable mark and wont mind the switch to hurdles .

1/ 4pt   win Mackie Dee @ 9/2

4.37 Encashment has run well in both handicaps , a close 3rd both times and off around the same mark could well be 3rd time lucky .

½ pt  win Encashment @ 7/2

Selected Hamilton – probably good to soft on this undulating , galloping and stiff track

1.26 Spezzatura brings the best form to the table , and can improve on his good run here now going up in trip . George Scott is 2 from 3 here and saddles Coco Jack , who shaped up well at Windsor after a sluggish start, but the tip has much less to prove .

½ pt  win Spezzatura @ 3/1

3.11 This will take little winning and a back to form run by Havana Party last time out here off this reduced mark , makes him the one to beat .

½ pt  win Havana Party @ 3/1

Selected Redcar – good ground on this flat and galloping track

2.27 Joeyemy ran well In all 3 races last year , at around this trip and ground . Went well first time out and of those with experience , looks more reliable than the others .

¼ pt   ew Joeyremy @ 8/1

3.37 Sparkling Red ran a cracker to force Maria Branwell to pull out all the stops when a close 2nd on her debut , and the winner won The National Stakes next time. Should be an easy odds on winner .

4.12 It’s hard to be sure whether Dusky Prince is unlucky or just plain clumsy , but one thing is certain is thar he’s rarely far away off this mark at this trip .

¼ pt win Dusky Prince @ 7/2

Selected Leopardstown – good ground on this flat , sweeping and galloping track. Top class circuit .

5,05 Some very interesting juveniles embark their career and one of those , the Aidan O’Brien trained Unless , is odds on as she is  very well related but so too are Madly Truly , who cost  £410,000 as a yearling and Amusement, £540,000 as a yearling , and at long odds , that’s the pick .

¼ pt  win Amusement @ 16/1

5.40 In his last two runs , Ice Cold In Alex has been tenderly handled , running through beaten horses ,and last time was a lot more encouraging as he came from a long way back to be 5th of 18 , behind a runaway winner , but on the heels of the placed horses. He is finally back down to a workable mark and returns to a track he runs well and the young jockey aboard knows how to win on him . He’s up to a trip he’s never won at , but has gone close . He has a rare run in a 50-80 .

½ pt  ew  Ice Cold In Alex @ 8/1

Selected Ffos Las- good ground on this flat and galloping track

5.20 A fine opportunity for the consistent Joyful Kit to upgrade 3 recent good placed efforts at around this trip  and ground and brings the best form to the table and this should be this prominent racer’s big day .

3/4pt  win Joyful Kit @ 13/8

5.50 The reliable Astral Via comes here on the back of a good 2nd at Ludlow off around this mark , trip and on similar ground. Dunbar is too high in the ratings and the trip too far , while Miss M is likely to find this trip too short while Time leader is ridden by a very inexperienced jockey .

½ pt win Astra Via @ 9/2

6.25 Gats and Co has won his last 3, all at chepstow , and all in the style of a progressive  chaser , but this is a very different type of track , in fact he’s bombed out in all 3 tries here . The Bull McCabe made all to beat a couple of useful yardsticks at Cheltenham and just 4 pound higher today , and has won on speed tracks .

½ pt win The Bull McCabe @ 3/1

7.00 Nothing really comes into this  with clear strong claims so worth trying the former pointer Friary Land , who’s on a really low mark for an Olly Murphy horse .

¼ pt  win Friary Land @ 5/1

8.00 Pilgrims King was produced late over C&D last time to snatch the version , not appearing to have much in hand , so the 6 pound hit could be enough . This could very well be the luckless Karanelle’s day , many good runs , and many good 2nds .

¼ pt  win Karanelle @ 4/1

Selected Chelmsford City – all weather – polytrack

6.35 Crimson Sand is very much a regular here and rarely fails to run well , such as last time when bumping into a Godolphin horse, who are represented tonight by the consistent Dubai Hope , but is on a testing mark and may not have the speed to match the tip .

¼ pt win Crimson Sand @ 5/2
