Don’t Forget to back him in the 2.45

Today’s Fortune for a fiver

Very good yesterday , 2 winners at 11/1 & 8/1 !!

50p ew trixie & 50p ew treble

Doonbeg Farmer 1.30 @ 9/1

Full Intention 3.10 @ 18/1

Lunar Shadow 8.30 @ 11/4

Selected Lingfield – all weather – polytrack

1.00A very tricky opener not just in terms of balancing the many variables , but it’s race for amateur jockeys , and you’ll notice a huge disparity in effective riding . English Patient is rarely far away, but losses are racking up and the extra furlong unlikely to help . Dutugamanu has 2 C&D wins on his CV , the latest 3 pounds higher than today .He has showed bits of form of late but is down to a low mark and grade . Jockey is winless too , but the odds are right for a dabble .

¼ pt win Dutugamanu @ 10/1

1.30 Forge Valley Lad finally got his head in front last time out , the win coming at Wolver , when given a prominent ride , and came home for a clear win . He’s proven over C&D and respected despite the 4 pound hit . Doonbeg Farmer was on his best behaviour over C&D a few starts back, coming off the pace for a clear win and was behind Forge Valley Lad last time but nothing went right during the race and did finish with a flourish . He’s 5 pounds higher for his win but the excellent Laura Pearson takes off a handy 3 . Tip looks a very nice ew play .

½ pt  ew  Doonbeg Farmer @ 9/1

3.10 I’m keen to take on the short priced fav Alrehb , returning from a 7 months break, from a bad draw and his narrow win came at Wolver , so this C&D could be sharp enough . Full Intention is well capable of running big races over this C&D off this kind of mark and capable of a surprise . The prolific Thapa Vic was caught out last time by the rise in the ratings and grade and as he encounters the same today , would do very well to feature .

1/2p t  ew  Full Intention @ 18/1

Selected Market Rasen- rain is forecast for most of the day so going likely to change from current description of good to soft .

3.30  This is a red hot Class 3 handicap hurdle and the short list is very long . Boreham Bill has been given a great chance by the handicapper , but just a dabble against stiff opposition .

¼ pt   ew  Boreham Bill @ 8/1

Selected Wincanton- good ground on this flat and galloping track

2.10 The prolific Salley Gardens, 3 wins and a 2nd in his last 4 races, returns after 4 months off with the ground in his favour , but is up a further 6 pounds which will surely test , but in this race for amateur riders , has one of the best around in James King . The Raven’s Return is rarely far away but losses are racking up . Get The Appeal has 2 course wins on his CV and is down in the ratings and grade and with the ground in his favour , worth a dabble in a tricky heat .

¼ pt  win Get The Appeal @ 7/1

2.45 Forgot You Not did very well winning here last time on his preferred quick ground , dropping in trip and despite a hefty 7 pound hit , he remains relatively unexposed and will certainly appreciate the extra yardage The opposition is very modest and despite a chunk of support for Tamgho Borget , his form figures are more alphabetical than numerical.

¾ p  win Forgot You Not @ 9/4

3.20 Only 5 go but an easy race to read , as 3 of these in Fiveandtwenty , Shirocco’s Dream and Sarceaux are going to go off like the clappers ,which will not do any of their chances any good ,  and as the admirable Merry Mistress is now on a stiff mark and more potent on soft ground , this could be set up for the late player Yauthym, who’s at her best on this kind of ground and despite now being on a stiff enough mark , the race make up could well compensate .

½ pt win Yauthym @ 4/1

3.55 Maliboo was very unlucky not to land the hat-trick last time , foiled by a massive gamble by one on paper impossible to fancy . She acts on the ground and this kind of track and will be hard to beat .

½ pt win Maliboo @ evens

4.30 He’s up a further 4 pounds , down in  trip and on slightly quicker ground , but understandable why Esprit De Somoza is such a warm order against badly out of touch rivals.

½ pt  win Esprit De Simoza @ evens

Selected Kempton – all weather – polytrack

6.00 Not a deep race and a very clear chance can be given to Above It All, who has gone pretty close in his last few runs and is proven at the trip and surface , which is something the majority of the others can’t boast . Only concern is that first time blinkers is a negative for the good stable .

½ pt  win Above It All @ 7/2

7.30 Fantasy Believer has a terrific record here , all 3 career wins coming over C&D and was pipped a nose last time over C&D on his first start for Ed Walker . He’s up just a pound and the very able Saffie Osborne takes 5 pounds off . It’s a good race , but a closer look at his rivals, gives me confidence in the selection .

½ pt  win Fantasy Believer @ 7/2

8.00 The dual C&d winner Capricorn Prince comes here very much in top form with 3 wins from his last 4 races , the only blip being a run on tapeta. He’s been winning very well and despite another slight nudge up the ratings is just preferred to the in form pair of Largo Bay and Savoy Brown , who are still on workable marks and nothing to prove at the trip and surface, but the tip is ruthless in the finish , 6 wins in 14 tries on  polytrack .

½ pt win Capricorn Prince @ 10/3

8.30 The consistent Yorktown was entitled to do a bit better last time , and his present mark looks a bit too much for him . Violet’s Lads ran well here last time when stepped up in trip, and has an extra furlong to go so likely to be outstayed by the lightly raced Lunar Shadow who recently resumed duties with a narrow defeat at Wolver and is proven at the trip and surface .

¾ pt win Lunar Shadow @ 11/4
